Our stay was absolutely incredible - the house and beach were even better than the photos. The host, Amanda, has thought of everything you could possibly need, and has curated a beautiful home with really nice items and products to use. The location is close to really great beaches, like Greenwich and Basin Head, and a quick drive into Souris for groceries. The beach was dynamic and exciting to search for rocks and seaglass, and was such a great part of every day. The sunsets were amazing, and the outdoor shower was fantastic. We loved PEI so much and are so glad we had this incredible home to call ours for the week!

It felt like we were staying in 5 star boutique hotel. The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. The views, particularly the sunsets were spectacular. And the owner could not have been more helpful and attentive. if you want a perfect PEI holiday, this is it. I almost forgot that the cottage is steps away from a gorgeous, quiet beach with a river.

A slice of heaven on Earth

Our son pronounced our stay at The Cove our best vacation ever, and we all agree. This property is perfectly appointed – your hosts have thought of everything and then somehow created even more delightful surprises.The house is luxuriously stocked with everything you could need, and all of the objects are themselves a pleasure to use. It may be small, but they have real sharp knives, which is so important when you are cooking at home. The appliances are all high-end, and the stove was a pleasure for my husband who is our family chef.The linens and textiles are lovely, and there are cozy blankets and throws everywhere to make sure you are thoroughly cuddled. There are too many spots to curl up in to mention, but the bean bag chairs in the loft and the fuzzy chair and footrest in the living room were very popular.The screen porch is the perfect place for meals – we ate out there for the stay, and it’s so delightful to be in nature without having bugs or rain interrupt you. I had four new life bird sightings from here!Speaking of nature, it’s impossible to overstate how quiet and peaceful this spot is. The walk to the beach is short and easy as you literally smell the roses on your way. There are very stable and safe stairs down to an amazing beach. We have not enjoyed a beach this much since California. There is a river that brings warm water and plenty of interesting rocks and sea glass to the shallow shore.The Cove is amazing – I cannot recommend highly enough!

Beautiful Property!!

Our stay at Amanda's luxury beachfront home was exceptional, everything was perfect! The house was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. I especially loved the coffee bar! The pantry was stocked with delicious healthy treats. Upon our arrival we were welcomed with the most lovely basket filled with goodies. The property has stunning views of the ocean, the sunsets are amazing and the beach is beautiful!! Amanda's communication was excellent. She is available anytime if you need anything. She truly is one of the best hosts! I would highly recommend staying at her beautiful property.

The dreamiest wellness vacation house!

We were looking for a luxury vacation on PEI and decided to book The Cove not anticipating having all of our expectations blown out of the water! This stay was so incredible, we’ve already booked our week for next summer! We walked into the home and were immediately hit with a stunning ocean view, followed by the impeccably curated, peaceful interior. Every detail of form and function were considered, right down to the yeti coffee mugs and insanely comfortable beds to make us feel right at home (if home were a luxury beach house)! As a foodie working in health and wellness, this house was STOCKED! The kitchen has everything you need (down to a hand mixer and an air fryer)! The coffee setup is out of this world; everything from locally sourced organic coffee beans, biodegradable coffee pods, matcha and herbal teas were available. Having an organic coffee every morning in a shearling lounge chair with an ocean view with the sound of the waves was the highlight of my trip. Amanda is the definition of a super host, with recommendations for the Island, games for adults and kids alike and a pantry stocked full of our favourite healthy snacks. I’m already dreaming of the day we get to return to The Cove!
