« This is the best little spot in your own corner of Lake Murray. Plenty of room, driveways, two porches, dock, a patio and has a landing right around the corner (literally) to put your boat it. »

« It was very clean and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch and awesome views. It was nice that it had so much outdoor seating. House was very nice and met our needs exceptionally well. We had a wonderful time. »

« Only complaint is there were bugs in the sink when we came back after dinner one night. It’s a cabin on the lake, so I get it but maybe spray for them since summer is upon us. Wood on the walls needs a deep cleaning. Could see a lot of dust accumulation. Other than those few things it was adorable and had everything we needed. »

« This house would be good enough with just the docks, boat ramp, and screened porch with a wide lake view, but it also happens to have a great layout for multiple family members to have some privacy, and it’s in a nice cove off of the main lake, and Break on the Lake. We are already booked for another family trip. »

« Communication with the owner, Tom, was the best I've had in any experience we've had in renting homes like this. « We had a family reunion nearby and this vrbo was a nice place to come back to. It is very spacious. We loved the proximity to the lake, the goats nearby and even the rooster! »

« Very nice, quiet home for a family get away. Maybe the most comfortable beds ever. The house is so well insulated that you do not hear noise from other rooms, not even from a 2 yr old. The decks and view were my favorite. »

« Overall the house was great. Though there is only one bathroom and that toilet was broken for our whole stay… not fun lol. I reached out multiple times but you get a different person each time you text/call. I was continuously told someone was coming and no one ever did. We did get a partial refund. Not a reason not to stay here, just know that communication is not the best. »

« Property is quite lovely and would be great for a family with kids. There is a backyard with fun activities for kids like swings and a slide and lots of games in the bonus room to play outdoors. The deck is quite unique with multiple levels and a hot tub. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use the hot tub nor a lot of the amenities since we had a lot already booked. « The house was great; well-equipped and stocked with everything you might need to cook and play games. The steps between the house and the lake were well constructed but challenging for the older renter, but we are probably in better shape! The dock was perfect for our pontoon rental day, and safe for swimming. Enjoyed the swing on the dock (but it does hit the cable on the boat lift when you swing too high). All in all it was a nice stay and the family enjoyed it! »

« Owner was personable and accessible. Beautiful setting, views, lots of parking, easy access to docks and boat ramp. Got to play croquet on wonderful lawn. Recommend cleaning and organizing of cabinets and closets. Great fishing location. Would be awesome to add a fish cleaning station. Thank you. »

« Ideal location to enjoy your break. Plent of space for all and dock made it easy to tie up the boat or just hang out and fish. Quiet and relaxing. We all had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Super responsive host. The check-in and out process were easy and painless. »

« Property was secluded and quiet. Creates a calm feel. Did not like the finger on the lake. It collected dead fish carcasses someone discarded. Bottom of the lake is mucky and has sticks. Wear water shoes when going in. Town has ample shopping. Good place when you bring your pets. Property could use some deep cleaning. »

« We enjoyed our week. Location was perfect and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was some construction going on a couple of houses down that was a little noisy during the day but didn’t bother us because we were out in boat most of the day.
