A very unique and beautiful reclaimed property with an exceptional outdoor entertainment area. While the interior was very nostalgic and accommodating, we spent the majority of our time enjoying the outdoor space. Every meal was prepared in the outdoor kitchen. The big fans under the pavilion kept us comfortable in the afternoon sun. The pool was refreshing and the billiard table kept us entertained. We couldn’t ask for better accommodations. Great location for exploring the downtown Riverwalk or the Pearl.

The house is charming, and the communication with the owner/manager was excellent. We appreciated the binder with all the details of our stay, including suggestions for restaurants. We did feel the need to uber vs walking to the Pearl District because there are a fair amount of homeless/users that we needed to pass by to get to the Pearl. We felt very safe in the gated home, the backyard is completely private. Neighbors are very close so the no outside noise rule after 10pm definitely applies for good reason. The beds were very comfortable, and bathrooms were nice. The train tracks are nearby, so the rooms where there wasn’t a box fan going (we only found one in the house) the trains could be heard.

Extremely charming inside and out. Eclectic decor was fun and functional. We loved swimming in the pool every day. The gazebo kitchen worked out great for our bbq. Lots of space!

Amazing Backyard

This is the family/group, eclectic retreat with lots to do, just as promised house. The property is quirky in a good way. The size appears deceptively small when you first pull up. Have no fear, it extends back and has all the space you need. It's large enough to allow you to grab a quiet corner away from the group; while small enough to be cozy. You can do nothing and just chill by the pool or in the TV room. Or you can get your game on by playing pool or corn hole. There is also a well-equipped outdoor kitchen for your inner grill master. The house is located in a transitional, artsy, warehouse district part of town. This explains the comments on the neighborhood. If you are unfamiliar with urban neighborhoods you might be taken aback. If you've traveled a bit then you will understand my statement and not be concerned. The property needed some details attended to; however the owner/property manager was responsive.

We were a multi generational group visiting San Antonio for a wedding. The house worked so well for us. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen and lots of places to gather and relax. Great location 5 min from the Pearl and all of the wedding events. Helpful host. Easy checking and check out. Great place for families.

Lawn care and pesticides needed

The house was wonderful as advertised. The layout was great and the pool and back house amenities were perfect for a family stay. We would stay there again, but There were two issues that need attention. The front yard was badly in need of mowing and weed clean up. There were many roaches both inside and outside that were bothersome. There was a wasp nest in the outside light on the front porch. When my son opened the front door they were disrupted and attacked him stinging him 5 times. Two of the stings were inside his ear. There was also a wasp nest in a seashell in the back pool house. My grandson saw the wasps flying out of it so we were able to get them out of the area before the stung anyone. The roach and wasp issues are probably related to the poor maintenance of the yard and landscape.

We needed extra hand towels and bath towels. When the four bathrooms were advertised, I don't recall seeing that the fourth bathroom was outside behind the pool. There were four couples, we each expected to have our own bathroom, and not have to share. Nobody wants to get up in the middle of the night and go out to the pool to use the bathroom or shower in the morningg.

description is misleading

4th bathroom was outside on other side of pool. Only 2 private bathrooms (description say 3). Cockroaches and bugs on counter and in dishwasher. Homeless people 3-4 blocks away and abandoned homes on the other side of the neighborhood. It took all day messaging the company before they came out for the bugs. I told them I had pictures and they were out within an hour. Bedroom off the living room had a barn door as its door. It had a 2-3 inch gap to see into the room and it could not lock for privacy.Those are the bad things. It was a nice house for a group of 8 adults. We just thought we were getting 4 beds and 4 baths..in the house?! It does have a nice outside area with a grill. 9 uber ride to river walk. If I did it again, I would not rent a car. The pool boy did use the 4th bathroom without asking/telling us. Someone from our party walked in on him on the toilet. That will be a story to tell for awhile.I did ask the property for a partial refund due to wrong info...ie bathroom count and # of private baths. They wouldn't budge. They did offer 100 for the bugs/cockroach issue. I never responded. Overall, due to location, I would not stay here again if I was looking for a 4 bed/3 bath home.

Disappointed

The house was dark because drapes had to be closed at all times due to proximity to neighbors. We were bothered by cockroaches even though we were careful not to leave food out on the counter and eating areas. The ice dispenser was broken, either dispensing ice not stop or not at all.

Charming Home

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The house had a lot of character and charm. It was close to all of the things in San Antonio that we wanted to see. The outdoor area was very relaxing.

Spring Break in San Antonio

We had a wonderful stay here. We had four adults and four kids (11 & 13). Girls and boys had their own rooms and the adults had their own room. Plenty of space for everybody with the two living rooms and the awesome outdoor space. We visited in March so the pool was a little chilly but it felt good after being in the sun all day. The adults even did some morning plunges to jumpstart the day. The location of this house is amazing. It felt like everything we wanted to do was somewhere between 4 and 15 minutes away. Lots of local restaurants and breweries close by. The kids really enjoyed the Pearl area. Nice big open green space to run around and a food hall so everybody could get what they want. Would definitely book again if we find ourselves in San Antonio.

Overall good. Few things. 7 bed home only 6 beds. No extra blankets or pillows. Wifi only let certain amount of devices on at a time. Leak in shower. Saw hot tub on the listing didn't have one nor heated pool. No pool towels.
