Bad experience
We arrived in free parking zone, top floor of garage. Usually that would be fine, however, elevator was broken so we had to drag our luggage down 8 flights of stairs. The doors had cobwebs and missing pieces of door so I donât believe the elevator broke same day. Get to building and it is covered in high power fans on the floor in lobby. Got in building elevator and quickly noticed there was no air. As soon as the elevator opened, we were met with the floor fans everywhere in the hall. Opened door to apartment, and realized why. The whole building had no HVAC. Apartment was 89. Went downstairs to ask about it and said it had been down since yesterday and they were only offering fans to tenant occupied apartments not rentals. Contacted owner and vrbo. Had to spend next 2 hours on the phone with vrbo to take photos of various things so we lost a whole night of our vacation. Refund is 5-7 days so we are still out money right now and we had to find/pay for another hotel. Horrible experience with vrbo resolution and this listing. Our trip should have been cancelled the day before when the whole buildings hvac went down and the elevator being broken should be in the listing since itâs not a new thing.
