Great location only steps to the beach. Location description and amenities were exactly as advertised. We loved the amount of windows, views from so many spots, and the bonus of having a fireplace for the chilly nights! Communication was top notched and we would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful Mission Beach Property

The house is well maintained, up-to-date, and clean! Convenient, walkable location. We parked the car and didn't drive during our vacation. This property is amazing and we'd definitely rent again.

Once again a dream

Booked an impromptu stay for 3 nights for my birthday. Just a great place to stay in San Diego. Place had kitchen and dining area remodeled since last stay and just makes for even more top notch beach accommodations. Location is perfect for Mission Beach and surrounding areas of San Diego. If you want to relax, enjoy beach life, and still sight see, this is the place. Owner has obviously put some serious effort into making this a nice rental. Comfortable!!!!

Not worth the price

The place has so many ant and we look for the vacuum we couldn’t find any. I called the management and then they said there’s one in the closet. I look for it and I couldn’t find it. I text him back and they said they will send another one next day, and they never did and then we realize electric shortage next to the apartment I texted management And they will send someone I waited more than two hours in my car with my kids. No one showed up. I got really tired and my kids so force ourselves to go into the apartment and spend the night early. We pack our luggage and leave the apartment and then I texted management That I left the apartment for this reasons and the only response from management or you’re not coming back that’s unprofessional ..expensive for no reason

We had a wonderful stay. The views, especially of sunset, cannot be beat. The house is very spacious and comfortable, and well stocked with beach gear. We didn't need to contact the hosts with any issues during our stay, but they checked in several times over text and were very helpful.

Great spot to stay

The home was well appointed, and included beach equipment. You are about 40 paces from the sand! The breeze that's flows through the walkways is nice. The patio made for good entertaining. We shopped along Mission Blvd, lots of restaurants to choose from, and all were accessible by a motorized chair. Driving around is not recommended, due to heavy beach traffic. Much better to walk or bike the strand, either ocean or bayside.

Great option for family get-a-way!

Well-maintained, well-stocked property with a very proactive owner. Wonderful location close to great restaurants, especially for breakfast and coffee. Quiet part of Mission Beach. Nice deck for evening cocktails or morning coffee.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

This cute condo was just what the doctor ordered. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, space for everyone and a great location. We loved the high tech and super smart microwave. ;) Owner was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. We loved the area, the restaurants (breakfast at the Boardwalk, Happy Hour at the Wave House), bike rentals from Kruiser King and a Bon fire on the bay (beach fire guy). We were traveling with our retired parents and dogs and everyone was happy, content and had a good time! Can't wait to book another getaway!

Nice place, great location!

This condo was clean and well-kept -- just as the pictures show. Very nice kitchen. Plenty of room for a family of four. The location is excellent if you want a quiet spot that's still close to the beach with easy access to the boardwalk and nearby shops and restaurants. The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions prior to our stay. Definitely recommend.

Cottage is Nice & owner is TOO!

This was our second time renting this beach cottage. We love the location close to the boardwalk & also to the marina walk-- about 1 1/2 blocks one way and four blocks the other way. The kitchen has been updated with all new appliances, cabinets & counters since 2 years ago and it allows more cooks in the kitchen now. The owner is a pleasure to work with and is one of the reasons we will continue as return guests. Christmas is always fun in Mission Beach playing in the sun! Thank you for the great memories.

Not As Advertised

Be careful about this unit. Claimed ocean view but only "peek-a-boo" view at best. Outdoor screening is in disrepair and had to be adjusted for each use. Outdoor grill was VERY dirty and the grills hadn't been cleaned in quite some time.There is NO covered parking as stated. The "boardwalk" is a skateboard runway with no food venues. Bathroom #2 is VERY small - one average person at a time. Owner was difficult to work with after incident occurred. Would not rent this unit again at this price or any price.

Beautiful little cottage close to everything.

It was a great place to stay, clean and comfy. The only thing I can offer as a suggestion is to have more serving bowls and it would have been nice to have Tupperware like storage containers for the nights when we cooked at the house and had left overs for the next day. Also the otuside porch light did not work, contacted owner and he will have it fixed. :)

We were extremely satisfied with this rental. It's so close to everything Mission Beach and Mission Bay has to offer with Pacific Beach just a a walk away. Beautiful sunsets could be seen from the patio or by walking just a few feet to the beach. The house was perfect and met all our needs for cooking and BBQ. Storage for other things was more than sufficient. We had a GREAT week at this house and are already looking at calendars to go again! Thanks so much!!

What you see is what you get in this condo. The property inside and out is very well maintained -clean, clean, clean. My family was very comfortable for the time we stayed there. This place has everything you can think of. Literally. Proximity to the beach is excellent. Just a few steps and you are right there. My grandchildren really appreciated the boogie boards, and we appreciated the beach chairs. The property owner checked in via e-mail regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely rent this condo again. Well worth it!

Great Beach House

We had an awesome spring break vacation here. The house is perfectly situated, in that you can see the ocean from it, yet it is tucked in a quiet walkway away from the boardwalk. The house feels very spacious and open, yet cozy, and seems to have been painted and updated recently. Everything was spotless, including the linens, which were freshly laundered and white! Fully equipped kitchen, great appliances. Even the outdoor space was clean and well-maintained (a rarity, given other rentals we've had). Plenty to do nearby - Cheap Bikes and The Olive are right across the street and awesome, ice cream and restaurants so nearby on the boardwalk. The owner was immediately responsive to any questions we had and even checked in to see that all was okay once we were there. We were very thankful for the parking space at the house. We parked the car for days and rode bikes everywhere. We highly recommend this rental!

Fun for everyone

Great stay as expected. Accommodations were top notch, well cared for and super clean! The owner really cares about the renters having a comfortable and enjoyable stay. All of the pre stay info was very informative. The condo is outfitted very well for sleeping 6 comfortably, and provides for a very convenient location to everything in San Diego. My children had a blast and loved the boogie boards provided by the owner. We will definitely want to stay at the property again, and would recommend it to all my friends and family. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!!!
