« Vue merveilleuse. Calme. Environnement très agréable.Cependant, la piscine est à 18 degrés ce qui pour nous l’a rendu inutilisable.Le nombre de couverts est franchement insuffisant.Enfin, l’éclairage dans la cuisines et pièce de vie n’est vraiment pas suffisant. Nous avons du mettre le lampadaire sur la table pour y voir à peu près lors des repas. »

« We had a very relaxing and enjoyable 3 weeks at Casa Mango in Chacarita, Puntarenas in Feb 2025, we wanted a small local place to see wildlife , relax and enjoy the climate and culture that is Costa Rica.The small private home is located on an estuary and we enjoyed watching the tide changes ,it was interesting with all the different types of birds and local fishing boats .We spent a lot of time on the shaded porch , usually we had a nice breeze, reading and dining, and just watching the...

« Jeff was very courteous and responded to my messages pretty quick. Overall very spacious and neat clean. What I liked most was the pool and the view. Game room was pretty cool. The property worth every dollar and more, truly espectacular. »

« The property management is extraordinarily easy to work with. They have an extensive knowledge of the area. We have stayed multiple times and have never been disappointed. Scarlet Macaws and green parrots visit as well as numerous lizards and other birds. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Great place to relax and close to highways if you want to visit San Jose. « Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. »

« Great place, plenty of room , decks and view abound, helpful staff and owner, everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Wildlife out your back door, pool a great touch to cool down but beach close and waves fun. Rent a golf cart and easy travel. Herradura close great food store. Though small one close by. Pickleball courts in Jaco, easy and friendly. National parks close, 10 good beaches on property and within 30-35 min. Will find our way back again. »

« A magnificent villa offering a splendid view of the mountains. an intimate garden surrounded by palm trees where it is good to swim and sunbathe. This is our second visit and enjoyed it even more Piet served us well with the first grocery which was already at the villa when we arrived and transport us to the airport. We enjoyed the gardener, his wife and the family very much. Warm, endearing, discreet and very helpful people. It was a perfect stay with lots of sunshine! »

« Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place. »
