« Property was conveniently located to downtown, within quick walking distance to Santo Domingo and Zocalo. Fans provided helped cool the house at night. The roof top patio was lovely, breezy, and perfect for city-gazing and relaxing. Patricia was very responsive to my many questions, and allowed us to stay past her stated check-out time when our flight was repeatedly delayed. « The entire booking, checkin, stay, support during the stay and checkout was super smooth Communication before, during and follow-up after the stay was just right. The property is immaculate, well appointed and a short 15-20 min walk to the center of town. We got in late and Angela’s husband Eduardo was gracious to give us a ride into town before restaurants closed. Classy »

« First ever booking and guests to stay at this place, with no reviews, we were worried about it but turned out great! Debra and Victor are awesome hosts, taking time to pick us up and drop us off at bus station when we arrived in and departed from Oaxaca for day of dead festivities. They offered great advice on how to attend the festivities, must visit places, restaurants to eat at, etc. And since they are 10-15 minutes outside Oaxaca Centro, the shuttle system they offered worked great for our...

« We really enjoyed our stay! As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a lot of street noise as it’s such a great central location. I found it easy to sleep just by running the fan as white noise and there are fewer cars and noisy passers-by overnight anyway. The courtyard is beautiful and although our trip was packed with activities so we didn’t spend much time at the house other than to sleep, we’d stay again. Moises was very helpful and responsive. « We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was a great location (an easy 15 minute walk to the zocalo). We were greeted by the host on arrival and communication throughout the stay was easy. The house itself is clean and stunningly decorated with local handicrafts. The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed leisurely mornings drinking our coffee around the large kitchen table. The house is even more lovely in real life than in pictures and listing was accurate, but one thing to be aware...

« Ming was awesome, always made sure we had everything we needed, went out of her way and even cooked for us, from her Chinese Restaurant, and provided us with a complimentary dinner, at the house. Socorrito, became part of our family. Very happy with everything. »

« The property is large and can easily accommodate a large group. Housekeeper and groundskeeper were thorough and attentive. Kitchen was stocked with continental breakfast items and coffee. The facility was private and secure. Neighborhood was on a main bus route so it’s a little noisy. Nearby restaurants are a block or two away and are excellent.Mattresses were hard. Overall, it was a great place to stay for downtown events! »

"This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely courtyard and a restaurant that serves excellent food. The staff was very friendly and helpful planning excursions and activities. Unfortunately, since the hotel is on a very busy street, most of the rooms look out on the corridor or courtyard. Our room was very dark and had no natural light. "
