This was our second trip to the island and it was much better than the first. The house was beautiful and quiet. The property owners and managers were excellent; not only did they recommend people and activities for the majority of our excursions but they were quick to answer any questions before and during our stay. And being picked up at the dock for diving, fishing and other water activities was awesome!

Perfect vacation home on Ambergris Caye

This house was beautiful!!! We had access to the whole house which included two kitchens , six bedrooms and several bathrooms. Our communication with the owner Ed and his property manager Iris was super easy. They assisted us with our airline shuttle from BZE via Maya Air as well as our golf cart rental and taxi to and from the Ambergris Caye Airport to the house.The location of this house is south of San Pedro, approximately 4 miles or 19 minutes with the golf cart. We were a bit worried that it would be too far from home but it was an easy ride into town and much more peaceful than we expected. The grounds and pool were cleaned daily and always looked great.We spent most of our time hanging out on the property of the rental home. Bring your own snorkel gear and swim around the dock. They do not have an on site washer and dryer but we did not miss having access to one. We were well stocked with linens, towels and trash bags. We even had enough coffee to get by for the first couple of days.There are several small grocery stores nearby and a little bar with excellent pizza. Robin is the bar tender, he is great and full of local knowledge. His drinks are the best on the island.If you are interested in excursions, Ed and Iris will help you arrange them. We highly recommend Hol Chan/Caye Caulker full day with Mermaid- ask for Marvin and Kyle. Also check out the Belizean Cooking Experience at Waragumo in San Pedro.If you want a home away from home - book this house!

Dream Vacation!

This was one of the most beautiful stays! Noodles retreat is gorgeous with all the amenities you could ask for. Ed and staff made our stay flawless. It is so nice to have someone holding your hand to navigate a new area. They helped make sure we had what we needed all the time including places to go, tours, how to handle getting around, etc. you will not regret bookjng a stay here. We plan on returning!

Wonderful home for family vacation!

This was an absolutely perfect home for our family vacation. It was great for our four generations of family and in-laws. Everyone had their own space. There really weren't any problems other than we had an issue with our golf cart in add contact of the company and got it replaced in under an hour. Iris was quick to get us any necessities we need and the visits from Noodles were great. The great thing is is that you can get to town or have excursions pick you up right on the dock but also if you don't want to go anywhere everything you need is right at the house including the ocean a dock a pool and anything you need to just make it a day at the resort vacation.

Great Vacation Overall!

Our hosts were exceptional. They were very responsive to our needs and went above and beyond in terms of trip coordination, places to visit, and things to do. Our only concern with our stay was the poor state of disrepair of the roads. Not a negative to the hosts, but it did make what should have been a convenient loaction to San Pedro more challenging to navigate than it should have.

Very accommodating employees (Iris and her husband) and the owners Lisa and Ed were wonderful. We planned a wedding ceremony with a large group 17+ and it was phenomenal. They set up a whole area for our group and it looks beautiful and worked amazing. The hosts booked our hopper flights and the golf carts and had them waiting at the house. They set up a taxi ride ($25 there and $25 back) which was very efficient. The property was absolutely gorgeous. It is farther away (15-20 minutes) and longer when it rains so be prepared. The mosquitos were crazy but that’s okay it was still worth it, just bring bug spray. The WiFi is spotty but Lisa let us know in advance. The AC works well in each room and the living rooms. The kitchens were great and had almost everything you need. If you have a large group definitely have Iris get you extra water because we used a ton early on and had to order more. The pool was great and we used it daily. Overall it was a great place to stay and we absolutely loved it. Wonderful for a wedding venue and the photos were absolutely amazing.

Awesome, Carefree trip to Ambergris Caye

We had 4 couples and stayed March 1-10. Going through our research on where to stay, Ed & Lisa answered all our questions very promptly. And once we booked, they continued to answer questions, booked our Mayan Air flight, arranged taxis, reserved our golf carts, and assisted with our sailboat excursion. Ed booked our sailboat excursion with Ambergris Divers which I would highly recommend. They picked us right up from our dock! The house worked out great for us with 2 couples on each floor. There are no internal stairs between the floors, but it was easy to access both floors by the external staircase. We enjoyed the pool, kayaks, and bag toss while hanging out at the house. Also, they were nice loungers to use will relaxing by the pool or on the beach. While at the house, Iris helped with all needs. She was always quick in responding. We would highly recommend Noodles Retreat. Between Ed, Lisa, and Iris, they took very good care of us.

Great stay for our FRamily!

We were a group of 3 families of 4- 6 kids and 6 adults. The house was a great fit for us. The property was well appointed and clean. The dock, view, and outside area for the kids (and grownups) to play was fantastic. It was a little farther from town than we expected (but we had no frame of reference and it was just as described in the listing). All this meant for us was needing to be a little more purposeful in planning groceries and meals, etc. No big deal. There is a bar/restaurant right across the street from the house called Stax- we ate there 3 times in 6 days! Robin the bartender is awesome, the ambiance was chill and perfect, the drinks were solid, and the food was INCREDIBLE. 25 out of 10, would recommend. The owners and proerty managers of the house were easy to work with and very helpful. We had 3 excursions that started from pick ups right at the dock. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Famiky Vacation

We loved our time at Casa Bella Vista. Lisa was a wonderful host and made many excellent suggestions and helped us book everything we wanted to do with the best tour guides. We did a snorkel tour which was the best we have ever experienced in all the places we have traveled and a half day of reef fishing. They pick you up right at the dock behind the house for these activities which is super convenient. They cleaned the fish for us so you could cook yourself or bring to a restaurant. (we caught almost 40 fish so it was quite fun and kept kids attention well) As far as location, it is beautiful but its a bit of a drive to town and the roads can be bumpy depending on recent weather. The kids loved that part of the adventure racing around in the golf cart. The drive was much easier and quicker once they were able to fill the holes the recent rain had made. The house itself and the grounds were great. Iris the caretaker was extremely attentive to anything we needed. Supplies were limited so pack ziploc/cling wrap/foil if you plan to cook much. The house is two separate units and we found we had to move supplies from one unit to the other instead of both having one of everything. Only the lower unit has a dishwasher and there is a washer/dryer but you can only access it for one day during your stay so plan accordingly. Overall we had an amazing time! Also check out the mainland tours, or plan to stay a day or two over there. The zip line/cave tubing was awesome! Highly recommend.

Great location and house

Noodles is a great place to stay. 5 friends and I stayed for a week. The place is "as pictured." The property managers live nearby and responded very quickly to our request for things like kayaks. The property owners were very communicative and offered to help us plan our stay. They provided a lot of options to help with like golf carts. Throughout the stay all questions were answered. Check-in and Check-out were all relatively easy. They asked for very little to be done upon check-out, which is nice. The area is great, with infrequent traffic. You definitely need a golf cart if you stay here, but that is probably true of just about every rental place on the island. This was an absolutely great stay with outstanding hosts and staff. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Great getaway

We loved our stay. Our group was three families each with a 14 year old boys and one with an 8 year old. The house was immaculate. The owners made sure we had everything we needed at the house. We used the recommended guide for fishing, snorkeling and a day at Secret Beach; we had the same guides for everything.. We needed two boats and the teenagers went with Shadow who gave them a sense of independence but also was great with them. They made sure we caught plenty of fish and brought lots of lobster home for dinner. We ate at Stacks a couple of times which was fantastic. Everyone who could eat gluten raved about the lobster and shrimp pizza. I am gluten free and was delighted that the owner was very knowledgeable; the corn chips have a dedicated fryer so I was able to eat nachos with most of the meat options. Groceries are the tricky part; eating out my be less expensive than restaurants. We love cooking and with my allergy we chose to mostly cook. The produce stands were great, but proteins are very expensive. Buy ALL of your liquor at the Airport, wine is ridiculous on the island. The only thing that was unexpected was the length of check-in. There are a lot of rules(with good reason), but with last minute flight changes and quick layovers the kids had not eaten in 8 hours. We were all starving and we spent an hour on check in before we were able to break away for dinner at Stacks. I highly recommend Noodle Retreat for a great time.

Exceptional experience

Our vacation to Belize, and this beautiful property, was exactly what our family was seeking. Spacious common areas for our family of 7, comfortable beds with nice linens, and incredibly responsive help from property management are just a few highlights. Highly, highly recommend!

Great experience and awesome service

All I got to say is Ed and is crew at the Noodles retreat are top notch! Anything we needed was addressed asap. The house and property was super comfortable and the fishing around his place was on fire!! From start to finish they were pros. Will definitely use them again. Thanks so much!

UnBELIZABLE

This place and the whole crew at Noodles Retreat are amazing. We had some issues arise that didn't involve them (our fault tho) and they immediately jumped in to help us even though they sure didn't have to. Their kindness and above exceptional service helped me/us through it all. Iris is amazing and Lisa too! We managed to still enjoy our trip and will be back in May. Their recommendations were top notch too!

Perfect place

The Owners were great and met us upon arrival to explain everything to us. They set up taxi pickup from the airport and the golf carts for traveling on the island. Iris and Eldon were a resource for us when we need towels changed out or new water jugs delivered. The location is very quiet and near some delicious restaurants and across the street from Stax Bar (highly recommend)! The main street needs some work to make the ride a little smoother when heading into town. All of our excursions picked us up from the dock which was super convenient. The place was perfect for our extended family to visit as well. Thanks so much for making our trip a memorable one!
