„Great place to stay for a week. It might not be the Ritz hotel but if you have a large group you won't find better value on lodging anywhere. The rooms are built fairly critter repelling, but the first night a little green frog got in. I don't mind frogs though, it's Costa Rica after all! Pura Vida!“

„Clean and safe location. Located near all of the tourist activities but quite far from town and would require a vehicle. Host was wonderful to communicate with, hot water stopped working and it was fixed within minutes by staff. Overall excellent stay I would book again.“

As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. You can park on site for free and it’s safe. 400m down to town where nice restaurants are available. Close by shops also for everything you need.
