« We had a great experience with this clean tiny home. My friend and I found it very spacious and really loved this tiny living concept. The veggie garden in front was super adorable. The shower and faucet fixtures were so pretty , w/d brand new looking, great toilet and large sink too. Mattress upstairs was great tempurpedic feeling , ac worked great,and very clean with no bugs! We felt very safe in this area day and night. Fairly quiet neighborhood and easy to get to airport and restaurants...

« Our host Jean was wonderful. My husband and I experienced such a relaxing visit here. EVERYTHING you could possibly need when going on vacation, Jean provides in this cozy space. Her garden and outside patio added a “spiritual touch.” I also must mention the AWESOME shower! When we visit Portland again, we’ll definitely stay here!!! »

« Such a lovely little gem near the center of town. The perfect fit for myself and two kids while on vacation. I appreciated the off street parking, and because we needed to do a lot of cooking, it had mostly what we needed to cook, and they offered to let us borrow anything from the main house that we might need. The hosts were very gracious and friendly. My only comment would be that there was a bit of a sugar ant issue that wasn't disclosed, so just make sure to keep all your food closed up....

« We had a wonderful stay in the garden apartment at Irvington House. It is very clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the beautiful backyard several times by having dinner or a glass of wine on the patio. If you get a chance to say hi to Mark (the owner), please do! Not only is he extremely nice and fun to chat with, he is very knowledgeable about Portland and the Irvington neighborhood. Let's just say that our list of "must visit" restaurants is longer now than when we arrived!...

« Staying at “Brick House Beautiful” was truly a joy! The English cottage apartment is decorated in a charming vintage style. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, Keurig pods, very comfortable bed and all of the little touches that make you feel at home. The gardens and outdoor spaces are beautiful and lovingly cared for. Bob and Ann take great pride in their home, are attentive to their guests and easy to communicate with. « Our stay was great! The listing was as described, we appreciated that. The rental was clean, organized and comfortable for our family to stay in. The bed was also comfortable. « We loved this little studio away from the busyness of the city and tourist areas. It was calm and had everything we needed for a nice, simple stay. No tv, but we didn’t want one! It’s just nice to be present in the stillness that surrounds you there. There is wi-fi, so we did watch a movie one night on an iPad. But everything you need if you are looking for beautiful simplicity in a well thought out, intentional space surrounded by nature and glimpses of wildlife. »

« Fantastic period home in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy check in with timely host communication. The attention to detail in the property was exceptional (for example cut flowers and quality soaps etc.) there were even tennis rackets which we used at the amazing Irving Park which is only a block away. The host lives on the property and was very friendly. The property occupies the whole of the main floor, is very spacious and there is a private outside porch. Highly recommend staying here. »
