Magnifique endroit, entretenu avec grand soin. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable. Excellent service à tous les niveaux. La nourriture servie au restaurant de l’endroit est d’une qualité exceptionnelle, le service y est exemplaire. Séjour de rêve dans un endroit de rêve!

Lieux exceptionnel. Le plus bel endroit au monde. Celui où on aimerait vivre. Service, repas, vue, piscine. Un seul mot : extraordinaire. Nous avions été à l'ouverture en 2020. Tout a poussé, encore plus beau en 2023 ! Nous y reviendrons ! Seul souci, la barrière de la langue, notre anglais n'étant pas au niveau. Merci pour ce beau séjour et à bientot !

Wasted potential of a stunning estate
We were disappointed overall compared to what we read on other comments/general rating. The property itself is beautiful and views are stunning. But really bad value for the crazy prices when it comes to all services, room, wine tasting, restaurant, equipment and management. One can see an investor is running this place and not a family owned business... very little love and passion for the details and all about cash. Save yourself the embarrassment of the cantina and have dinner at Cozinha da Clara in Pinhao!

Site exceptionnel au panorama à couper le souffle. Chambre un peu exiguë mais offrant une vue magnifique , pensez à réclamer une couette pour les nuits fraîches .La restauration n’est malheureusement pas à la hauteur de la réputation de cet établissement. Attention aux extras sur place car les prix sont élevés.

Superbe!
Nous avons passé un séjour trop court dans cet établissement. Le personnel était attentionné et courtois. On nous a donné notre chambre plus tôt que l’heure prévue. L’hôtel est dans un vignoble de très grande qualité et la vue est superbe. L’endroit est chic. La propriété possède un beau potager. La cuisine offre un choix varié.

The property is beautiful with plenty of trails to explore. We done a 200 hectare wine tasting which was good but we felt it was rushed and could have included some snacks / food pairing.

This is a great place to stay. Excellent services from front desk to restaurant. The food is exciting and excellent and I love the exchange we had in the restaurant. We were well taken care of. Shout outs to: Ignes - manager Leonal - chef Telmo Alfonso - evening shift waiter Jaime - morning shift waiter Tanya - manager One thing for the estate to note: The central air-conditioning needs work. The room can get quite warm which requires one door to be kept opened.

Loved the place!!!!! Didn't need to drive anywhere, once we got to the hotel. Wine tastings, hikes, good food, relaxation, and the most photogenic surroundings all day long. It felt like a "down to earth" place even though it has resort sensibilities. Perfect hospitality!

Ventozelo Hotel and Quinta was hands down one of our favorite stays we have ever had - and we travel a lot. The views and property are absolutely stunning and we lived every minute of our stay. The restaurant and service were top notch, and aside from one snooty gentleman at the store/activities the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

It is a beautiful property and staff are helpful. We stayed in the previous wine cellar so the room is spacious and has a nice view. I do hope that hair conditioner can be provided in the future as well as creamer for coffee in the room. Also the trails signs aren’t visible for many of them which is not that big a deal since everywhere is beautiful.

Wow! My wife and I enjoyed 2 days at Quinta Ventozelo. This place had it all - Beautiful scenery, great accommodation, fantastic service, great food, walking trails through the vineyard and a pool to die for. Loved every minute of our stay - thanks to the staff.

Quinta do Ventozelo offers the ultimate regenerative break to the weary traveller. An excellent location with the most outstanding views across the Rio Douro imaginable. The rooms are excellent and well appointed, the food is of the highest quality and the staff friendly, efficient and very professional. The perfect get-away for couples with so many things to on the estate - wish I’d booked for longer!

The scenery and views of the Douro valley are amazing. The gardens were beautifully designed and planted.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner options were excellent. We used the pool every day and would definitely stay again if visiting the Douro.
