Greatest place I have ever booked

View was insane, location was perfect and didnt have to move the cars all weekend. Pool table was put to good use as well as the spacious inside. Would book again 10/10

Awesome views, amazing space

It’s a lovely property with great views and a lot of space. The pool table/bar room and upstairs deck really were icing on cake. Biggest complaint would be the one elevator key and that the Drayton street entrance could be pulled open without buzzing in. You’re unable to get to unit without elevator key, however, felt slightly less secure.

Best Scad graduation place to stay!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The property appeared to have been updated from the photos when I reserved it last year in preparation for my son’s graduation from SCAD. The property is absolutely beautiful. When I read previous comments, there were reviews was stated there were not enough towels. that was not the case for us. Our stay was amazing! when I read previous comments, there were reviews was stated there were not enough towels, that was not the case for us. however I would say that the kitchen cookware could be updated a little as well as we did have a little trouble with the washing machine . but aside from that the property is absolutely beautiful . best place ever to stay with the family for any occasion! And requests were quickly responded to even over the weekend!

Wedding in Savannah

The property is spectacular. Located in the heart of the historic district. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The place was perfect for us all to get ready for the big day. The private parking came in handy when an unexpected storm arrived just as we were heading out. Had the transport pull in and we were able to get the bride to the venue untouched This is truly a VIP space. Three challenges and I hate to bring them up except they are consistent comments on other reviews. 1. half the space has great AC and half does not - moved thermostat to warm spaces as directed - this made it a little better- by the time we left we figured a noise we were hearing might have been second unit trying to start. 2. TVs - need an instruction sheet to explain how to use the multiple remotes. TVs in guest rooms have Roku. Four others in main bR, media Rm, living room and game room get 4 channels and are not smart TVs w Bluetooth. 3. This strength is also a weakness, your privacy is assured by secure building access and an elevator - challenges is one set of keys and fob, if your party splits up you have to be sure your returns are coordinated. Good news if you have to wait there are some corner bars close by. Late night -someone needs to be a light sleeper to listen to their phone. All that aside. Every person that stopped by was amazed. The place is bigger than it looks in the pictures. We wished we had some time to sit on the rooftop deck. And next time we’ll bring a chef to cook in the incredible kitchen.

Savannah for wedding

A very spacious and nice property. Only concerns were ingress and egress of the property and that there were a few malfunctions with appliances and that TV channel selections did not include sports options. A nice location and comfortable stay.

Great Location but poor Amenities

Beautiful Condo in a great location but there were a lot of issues. First of all there was water dripping in the entrance and a huge water damage in the kitchen with hanging plaster over the sink. There was only one kitchen towel and no pot holders. We requested another kitchen towel but never received it. When we requested Kleenex we were informed it was not provided. Even the cheapest motel offers Kleenex. We had 7 women for 4 nights and would have enjoyed more than one towel per person. Again, provided at any cheap motel. When the refrigerator water and ice leaked all over we were told a service request would be put in. No response while we were there. Finally the projection television didn’t work and we had bought a dvd to watch. It took many calls and days to finally get it to function. Great location but expect problems while you stay.

No tv channels but fantastic place

My only gripe, was that in spite of a television being in every room as well as a movie theater there were only four or five very basic channels because the owner was too cheap to subscribe to a larger package of channels so we could not enjoy watching television at night. secondly, in spite of very detailed instructions on dealing with the house there were no instructions for the sound and operations for the movie theater which again was advertised so this was upsetting however the management company was highly attentive

If your only goal is location and size

The good things are location and size. You can walk to most places. Plenty of room and the roof top is a nice feature. Now for the disappointing things…… When we first arrived found a set of house keys on floor in full view in the hallway which was accessible to anyone. Lack of security. The ac wasn’t working in the bedrooms and pool room. The repair person couldn’t find problem on the first day. On second day when we complained again (it was over 90 degrees) the repairman found there was no Freon in the unit. It was repaired but our guests couldn’t sleep because of the heat the first night. There was a huge tear in the master sheet. The iron didn’t work. The roof leaked into the kitchen during the rain. The seal jn the master toilet leaked all over floor. Reported all issues and also asked for an accommodation for all the issues. The worker at Southern Belle then sent me an email saying we damaged the paint in the pool room. And that we would be charged an additional $500. What a complete lie. They did not even address the issues we had experienced. I requested from the property management company their owners contact information only to be told they couldn’t give it out. I did get his name and found him on internet and sent a message. Never heard back. I will NEVER rent a property through Southern Belle in Savannah, Ga again. I feel they didn’t care about us and our experience at all.

Property was a Wow and could easily be a 5

The penthouse location and set up is just great. It is quite spacious and the amount of light in the penthouse is great. The rooftop access is an extra bonus. We did not give it a full 5 out of 5 because of the many maintenance items that need to be addressed. There were many (none of them not urgent but as a result made the property less than it should be). One big item though was the elevator...it was out of order the whole weekend and we were informed about this one hour before arrival (and also informed elevator service had been called). Perhaps they were called but they never showed up and no further communication either during the stay or after we had been there and communicated to the rental agency. If you are staying here I would call ahead and make sure the elevator is working if you need it. (Stairs are narrow and not really designed for taking luggage up and down). So great home, great location, but on a price/value calculation expected a little more attention to the details and better communication.

Mother's Day Weekend Getaway

Booking was easy, The location and property was amazing.!! The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils which made grilling out a breeze (except we could not find a pair of scissors anywhere) The restaurant and staff below were so helpful and kind. It was a little difficult to figure out how to get up to the penthouse floor (sneaky elevator tricks, we weren't informed of), we had to go around the block a few times and contact the property mgmt team until we located the designated parking garage. The pool was about 30 miles away and with the traffic would have taken an hour to get there. After a loong drive there the last thing we wanted to do was get in the car. That was kind of disappointing. & there is only 4 channels on TV and no way to connect a phone or login to Netflix. After a long day sight seeing and exploring, we wanted to sit down together as a family to watch movies to relax or on the rainy day and it wasn't possible. Normally, the tv isn't a big deal but for the price, it would have been nice to have. Having a washer and dryer on site was amazing! Would stay there again if ever in Savannah!

Great Location with Southern Charm

The home was as described, beautifully decorated with charm of the old south. The carriage house (used as 4th bedroom) was very nice - better than expected. We were able to walk to almost all of our destinations including Leopold's which is right down the street. Parking is very restricted in the area so the 2 car garage was very much appreciated although it would be difficult to back a large SUV in. The living room is fairly small so not great for our group of 8 people to gather. But the room very much fit the style of the home. Overall a very good experience in a beautiful city. We definitely would stay there again.

Great stay but…

All in all a great stay. The location is great but have a couple of things they could improve upon for the amount you pay to stay. First, incidentals provided (soap, towels, tp, no tissues)could be increased. Also, the cable was just local stations, not even news or ESPN. If I’d stayed at a hotel I could have had that everyday for the same price. Second, there was only one key for four couples. We had to coordinate incoming and outgoing to make sure all of us could get in at the end of the night. Last, attention to detail was lax. There were remotes with low batteries and lights missing lightbulbs. Again, place was huge and super cool and if the above was corrected it would be outstanding.

Loved it!

Great location and awesome space- very open floor plan, comfortable beds, nice linens (the bath towels actually wrap all the way around your body, not like some other places where you essentially get a glorified hand towel, lol). The restaurant downstairs was awesome. We also loved the security of the parking garage- it's private and totally closed in so safety was never a concern. The upstairs outside area is also amazing. If I had one suggestion to offer, it would be the tv's...they're pretty outdated (they're not Smart, so you can't log in to Netflix, etc. and there are no BluRay players, etc. either...we ended up just going out and buying a Roku; which wasn't a big deal, but it's also not something we really planned on doing while we were on vacation). The tv's do get a few regular cable channels, but they are the basic of the basic...maybe 5 channels total. The remotes are also very confusing, there are 3 separate controllers just in the living room alone. I'm pretty tech savvy and so is my best friend, and it took both of us working together just to figure out how to power on the tv, lol....! I might suggest some kind of written instructions for future guests, just to make things a little easier :) Again, this wasn't a big deal, and it certainly wouldn't stop me from staying here again! However it would have been nice to come back at the end of a long day of 'touristing' and be able to put our feet up and relax to a movie without having to go buy a Roku :) Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we hope to come back sometime!

Book it!!!!

The pics online do this property no justice. The place is HUGE and the rooftop is AMAZING!!!! All of the rooms are plenty spacious, the kitchen and living room areas are so roomy, we didn't even get to enjoy the billiard room or theatre room but maybe next time (wink, wink) You are a 15min walk to shopping, Riverfront, parks and plenty of dining in any direction. You are upstairs from Hitch restaurant which was amazing for our late night munchies after a concert and a drag show. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you don't book it, you will have no idea what you are missing out on. Just do it.

The best place I've stayed in Savannah!

This property is fabulous! Lots of space inside, plenty of room to prepare and serve meals, the biggest master bedroom I have ever seen, the list goes on and on! Location was perfect, we walked everywhere we went! The private parking is also such a great convenience. I'll be trying to stay here every time I come visit. Thanks so much!

Great location

Penthouse is in a great location, the house looks exactly like the pictures. Really enjoyed our stay, just not enough time to spend on the roof top or the pool table/bar. Only complaint from the guys was no ESPN on the cable so they were unable to watch the football games on New Years day.

Perfect Location for Cathedral Wedding

Couldn’t have asked for a better location to attend a family wedding at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John and reception at The Desoto. Beautiful property with quality furnishings and great entertaining space — the billiard room and rooftop terrace! Highly recommend!
