When searching for a place to stay in Sayulita for 3 weeks, we were looking for a pool, ac, a location that allowed us to easily walk into town but was separate from the chaos, in an authentically Mexican styled building. We got all that and more. Xochitlan does a great job of combining modern amenities with Mexican charm. The place was very clean, the host Coco was available and helpful, the property manager Miguel fixed minor issues quickly, a cleaner came by every couple of days. The pool was amazing. The jungle themed landscaping presented us with an assortment of wildlife to keep us entertained (mostly birds and iguanas). The kitchen was adequate to prepare many of our meals. The shower was hot and great pressure. The bed was comfy. We walked down to Sayulita centre a couple of times each day. There is a bit of a hill, but totally manageable as you are near the bottom of the hill. We loved our stay here and hope to come back in the future.
