« Stayed one night on road trip. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Ample, easy parking with the pub located only a short drive from Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay. Breakfast was great with a large selection of alternatives cooked dishes, as well as the 'full English'. Overall good value. Would definitely stay again. »

« We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...

« We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! »

« Huge room with everything I would need for an overnight stay. Plenty of tea, coffee, and toiletries. Room was spotlessly clean and I had a great night's sleep in the comfortable bed. As a lone traveller, I was made to feel really welcome and would definitely return. »

« Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Perfect for a stopover and pleased with separate proper beds for the kids. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The service was excellent. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate our large group sorting us out with our own area and even sorting us out with another meal when a member of the group ordered the wrong meal. Great restaurant and rooms in a brilliant location just a few minutes from the beach . »
