Pleasant accommodation
A very nice property, in handy location. Great and rapid response from the host, Andrea on small issues around heating. Kitchen well equipped. A good size of the bathroom, which was clean. Towels were very soft , so big plus for me!! Area very quiet. The house is one of the tall ones so something to bear in mind when coming with small kids as the stairs are slightly steep so no running around :) I can imagine the parking could be an issue as there is not much space on the street but we never experienced this. Thank you!

Beautiful, clean, homely cottage
The property was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were lovely, as were the living areas downstairs. The bathroom was very spacious and modern. We really enjoyed our stay. The only slight issue we had was trying to find somewhere to park. We never did manage to park near the cottage, so we used a local car park instead. The location of the cottage was great. It was an easy walk to the beach and the shops and the views from upstairs were great.

Maybe I should have made it clearer that there are several streets around the cottage where you could park the car using the scratch cards provided, the cards cover an ‘zone’ rather than a single street, apologies for that. Sea view Cottage
Cannot recommend this property enough for a holiday in Scarborough. It’s location provides easy access to North or South Bay both only a 5 minute stroll away. The cottage is warm, cosy, clean, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Thank you Andrea we had a great stay x

Lovely, pet friendly house
Had a great time here, house is very well equipped and presented, had no problems at all. Close to plenty of things for the whole family to do. Would stay again.

Hidden gem
A true gem comfy cosy spotlessly clean. Host was sooo helpful . The house is quirky the veiw is fabulous and we will be rebooking . Great location good parking . Shower was fantastic everything was perfect . Thank you

4 night summer holiday break
Wonderful cottage and it was exactly as listed. Great for our little family as close to the beaches and the town - we didn’t need to use the car while there as everything was within walking distance. The cottage was fantastic with everything that you could want for a family holiday base. Thank you for a great stay and we would defiantly book to stay again.

Short break
my daughter and I travelled from Lincoln to Scarborough. The cottage was beautifully decorated enough space for us and two dogs. We were in the middle of two fabulous beaches and a 10 minute walk to town centre. Cottage had everything we needed, the owner responded immediately to any queries. We were given a parking permit for the length of our stay. Just one point comfy outdoor seating would have been an added bonus. Would certainly return, great trip.

Excellent comfy cosy cottage in a quiet part of close to the castle and the harbour.
Spent 3 lovely nights here. Really comfortable well equipped and clean, within easy walking distance to all the attractions of Scarborough. Striking distance of many other tourist destinations. Spent one day in Whitby. Onstreet parking with passes provided. Plenty if local pubs and restaurants if you don't feel like cooking . Highly recommended, would definitely book again, thank you.

Lovely cottage in a special location
Traditional cottage with marvellous sea views, modernised to a high standard. A short walk into the town or the beaches and local spots: the castle, St Mary's Church. Very conveniently situated to access Scarborough's attractions, both North and South bays. Hosted by Andrea who was so attentive and replied quickly. Fabulous!

Well situated property
Not much bad to say about the stay. We would say the place is well placed for all local amenities and the beach and near main routes to other areas. The house was spacious and a little quirky due to a slight lean to the property toward the back. Parking was ok but you may have to search for a space during the weekends and evenings but we always had parking on the house road. The seafront has many different eateries and pubs and there are local one-stop shops. Andrea was quick to sort a parking issue for us so communication was perfect. All in all a great stay.

Unsere Erwartungen übertroffen
Die fotos haben das Objekt bei weitem nicht so gut dargestellt wie es tatsächlich aussah, nämlich richtig schön. Wir waren also angenehm überrascht als wir angekommen sind. Alkes war zu unserer Zufriedenheit, bis auf der Staubsauger, der beim saugen sehr nach Hund gerochen hat. Sonst sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen dank an die Vermieterin, Andrea.

Enjoyed the cottage which was spacious and airy although two older members ((70s and 80s) found the stairs hard work. But it was an old fisherman’s cottage so not surprising.

Perfect location to get fit
Lovely cottage in a great location and access to north and south beach within 5/10 mins walk. High up in the old town so a steep walk back up the streets or paths to keep you fit …. Amazing views from the top bedroom. Parking is on the street with a pass so a bit hit and miss where you can park …. And very old streets so not much room to manoeuvre if you have a big car. Once parked though you don’t need tk drive anywhere tk get around Scarborough as you are bang in the centre but far enough away from any noise …. The cottage is lovely and quiet. We had a lovely stay.

Fantastic house, perfect location
We really loved our stay here in Scarborough. Everything in the house was perfect, with lovely rooms and a sea view from one side of the property. A perfect location 5-10 minute walk down to the beach front and easy permit parking. We will hopefully return again soon.

Seaview Cottage
I really wish I'd booked this cottage for a few days longer - it's so cosy, homely and full of character. The living room is comfortable with lots of charming touches; both bedrooms are spacious with lovely furniture and bedding, and I was blown away by the size of the bathroom. The back yard is nice and secluded; ideal for enjoying a coffee in the morning before setting out for the day, or dining al fresco in the evening. I highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back!

Charming cottage
A lovely charming cottage in a great central location. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Stairs a bit steep for older guest with a bad back but everything else more than made up for it. Would definitely book again if we were going to Scarborough. Great communication from Andrea - thanks for a great break!

Fantastic cottage in a great location
This house is in an elevated position with wonderful views over the bay, unfortunately I’d forgotten that Scarborough was so hilly, but the location of this cottage is perfect. 5mins to the Castle, 5mins to the north bay side and a 10min walk to the south beach. Easy access to all the amenities and in such a quiet area. The cottage itself is lovely, nice and clean and well equipped for a family holiday. It has comfy beds, lovely sofas and very tasteful decoration. The parking outside was easy and we didn’t have any trouble getting a space. ** sorry in advance ** My only issue was that I would have loved some bigger mugs for my morning tea (but that is a personal preference) and I wouldn’t recommend this cottage if you struggle with stairs. We would happily book again if visiting Scarborough. Thank you Andrea, Sea View Cottage is fantastic.

Perfect location for walks along the South Bay & the North Bay, just minutes from both. Sea View Cottage is clean, has what you need & is very comfortable. It’s full of character & charm. Definitely recommended.

Lovely property
A lovely property - very clean, charming and homely. Andrea is a great host and very helpful. Would gladly stay again. Only difficulty is if you are elderly and not able-bodied - the stairs are very steep as are the streets nearby! And permit parking is a bit of a lottery depending on whether there is a space nearby.

I am so pleased you enjoyed Sea View, it was a pleasure to have you. You are correct the cottage is not for anyone with mobility challenges. It is over 150 years old and spread over 3 floors and whilst quaint and cosy the stairs are steep. It is situated in the OldTown, which is fantastic in that it is literally just behind the harbour and sea front, but Scarborough is on a hill which means a walk down to the beach/sea front. I am very happy that you managed to enjoy your stay despite the challenges.

Excellent location Property was beautiful and clean and was in ian excellent place for visiting both
The owner and clearly put a lot effort into preparing the property with lots of nice little pieces of furniture. The size is perfect for four adults and would have no hesitation returning to the accommodation. The perfect location for a short stay in Scarborough.

Andrea was very helpful, the house spotless with everything you need. The problem is parking. The local neighbours are very protective of their spaces.

So pleased you enjoyed the cottage. The cottage enjoys such a central location which is convenient for both bays and town but unfortunately the downside is there isn’t any private parking. However, all of my guests do find a spot and can then explore the town on foot.

weekend away with Husband and mother in law.
We all had a lovely time at the property, well equipped for our needs. Only one thing I wear a hearing aid and my mother in law also has a hearing impairment. We could not find the subtitles on the television and their was no instruction manual to sort it out. This maybe something you can consider for future guest who may have hearing impairment. otherwise we had a very comfortable stay and will recommend to Family and Friends

Clean and good location. Glad there was just the two of us otherwise it would of been a bit snug downstairs. Parking a bit of an issue. If not back by 18:00 you will have a problem parking. Overall house was fine.

Lovely cottage for a short break
Ideal cottage for a family of 4 plus dog. Really spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Downstairs a little small but fine for what we needed. Tastefully decorated and well equipped kitchen. We found the downstairs needed an extra lamp so we took one from the bedroom and put it into the lounge to make it even cozier in the evenings. The parking was a problem on arrival but a neighbour very kindly moved his car to create a space. We didn’t dare move the car until departure! … but everywhere was accessible on foot (and we like to walk!). Andrea was really friendly and responsive throughout the whole booking process; and has clearly considered the important touches to make the stay comfortable. Many thanks.

I agree in the height of summer parking is premium, but all of my guests do get parked, and that is the beauty of the position of the cottage, everything is within walking distance. Home from home
Seaview Cottage was perfect for us ad we visited to Scarborough for my niece's wedding weekend. Homely cosy and clean. The bedroom is huge and the beds comfy. Location is convenient for all Scarborough has to offer and Andrea was a pleasure to deal with. Just book it, you won't be disappointed.

Seaview is the perfect holiday cottage
Seaview is such a lovely holiday cottage! The cleanliness was 10/10 and it is so cosy. Perfect for a family getaway. It is also in an ideal location, close to the town centre and the beach. There is so much to do in Scarborough. We had a fantastic first family holiday with our one year old son. We would highly recommend Seaview cottage 😀
