The coastal walks from the village stretch north towards Bamburgh (3.5 miles), with wide sandy beaches and memorable views of Bamburgh Castle. Or head south towards the sweeping sands of Beadnell Bay, popular for kite surfing, paddleboarding and beach picnics. Sample the seafood in nearby Craster (10.5 miles) or plan a day trip to Holy Island (19.5 miles).
