We had a great stay here for spring break. The house is stocked with everything you need so we don’t need to get any essentials at the store. It was close to the beach and a 7 min drive to all the wonderful Ballard restaurants and shops. We were so busy during our trip that we didn’t get to use the sauna, but it looked really nice and if it were warmer we would have definitely used the outside patio to eat. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent property, excellent host

We really enjoyed our stay here! Jongwoo was a friendly, informative host who provided us with lots of information on how to operate everything on the property before we arrived. The property itself was extremely clean, and we loved the quirky floorplan with the open spaces, lots of windows, and very serene, calm, minimalist decor. Lots of storage in the 2 bedrooms we used, and the beds were very comfortable. The property is within walking distance to 3 grocery stores (Grocery Outlet, Metropolitan Market, Safeway), and not far from some great restaurants we enjoyed (Cafe Munir, Larsen's Bakery, Razzi's Pizzeria, Frankie and Jo's). Even though it's across the street from a middle school, we didn't have any issues with traffic/noise. It did take us quite awhile to get to/from the property to I-5 because of so many traffic lights/stop signs going through residential areas, but that's the only issue we experienced. We did not get a chance to use the sauna, unfortunately, even though it was one of the perks of the rental, so I guess we'll have to come back another time! Thank you, Jongwoo, for your hospitality!

Way better than even expected!

This place was a true gem. It met every expectation and then some. The home is gorgeous and the yard is stunning. Property manager was exceedingly cooperative and helpful. We will definitely stay again and I have been sharing this listing with family and friends. This place will not disappoint.

Just Wonderful!

We were visiting family from the east coast and had a fantastic vacation.The property is impeccably kept, comfortable, and the location is perfect for a quiet, yet city stay. We walked to many amenities, took in neighborhood views, and dined in downtown Ballard. The house is very beautiful and clean, and boasts many internal comforts like automatic lighting, heated flooring, gas fireplace, and high end appliances. The host is a gracious and quick responding host who provides easy to follow, detailed instructions. I cannot say enough great things about the host and home.

Peaceful oasis for family visit

The house was clean, comfortable and cozy - the owner gave clear instructions on how to find and use everything in the home. Location was convenient and outdoor space was beautiful. Nice little touches like having house slippers for guests and nice bath products in the bathroom. Had a bit of trouble using the door code but owner responded immediately and issue was resolved. Would definitely rent again.

Jongwoo was amazing to deal with when I initially needed up with the reservation and then continued to communicate for any needs or recommendations during my stay. The house is wow gorgeous. This is a lovely property. Our host was very responsive and provided very detailed instructions on everything in the house. The only thing I wouldn’t suggest this property if anyone in your group can’t handle steps or stairs as there are several. Other than that would highly recommend this property.

Top Notch!

I had all of my employees in town for a meeting. 3 of them comfortably stayed here. Nice big space, very bright. Modern everything. Very comfortable. Location is great with easy access to anything you need. Communication was proactive and spot on. Got this on my list to book again for family and work events.

The Zen House

As soon as you walk through the front door you know that this home is cared for. We dubbed this home “the zen house” and it is exactly that. Everything is as pictured. It’s extremely clean, bright, fresh and contains all the amenities that you could need, and even some you wouldn’t have imagined (house slippers). The layout of the home is a split level and all of the appliances and features are new and modern. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located to many places of interests in Seattle. Like many other reviews, we too would’ve loved to spend more time in the outdoor area as it is beautifully kept and inviting to the senses. The host is friendly and fantastic with communicating in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was unique and super cool, both in floor design/layout as well as the furnishings (the place looked like it had been pulled right out of an IKEA design studio. So many cool little features that were thought of - you can tell the owner was looking to impress.

Pleasant Stay

We were in Seattle for a family birthday, so we basically just slept there. The home was very nice, beds comfortable and home just as pictured. We woke up with the sun each morning! My only suggestion for the owners would be to get blackout curtains! There was sound proofing work being done downstairs that we were warned about, so not an issue with us being gone all day. Unfortunately we could still hear the unit below after the sound proofing was done which I did inform the homeowner. That would not stop me from renting again in the future.

Wonderful experience

We loved our stay in this awesome home. It is obvious the owner truly cares about their guests. They even went as far as purchasing a playpen for our granddaughter to sleep in. We regret not getting to meet in person, but they were extremely accommodating through email and text. The home is centrally located. It was easy to get around to various sightseeing around Seattle. We played tourists so much that we only used the home in the evenings to crash and refresh before heading out again. The yard is very beautiful and we wanted to spend more time there, but were just too busy then the evening weather cooled off. The home is built on many levels with stairs to each. This is beautiful but can cause problems with small children or older visitiors but we were just very careful and enjoyed it! The hosts even left chocolates for my birthday. How thoughtful! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
