„Very nice hotel although aspects are due for update. Comfortable rooms and dining space. Excellent breakfast choice and quality. Staff are very distant however - no smiles, no pleasantries and they generally don’t seem to like to be bothered. All staff appear like this. “

„Nice staff. We were walking the Pennine Way and got there at about 6.20pm. Were told last orders for food was 7pm so mad rush to get in a fit state to eat! Food was very nice. Rooms nice. Would recommend. “

„Sehr Familienfreundlich und war gar nicht laut, obwohl es in einer Pub ist. Das Zimmer war etwas klein mit Babybett. Ich würde daher ein größeres Zimmer empfehlen. Die Teppe war auch etwas nervig mit Kinderwagen.“

„Excellent and charming renovated period buildinh with very responsive communication before and during stay. 15min walk from train station and business terminus and 10min into town center. Beautiful and serene garden and patio. Quality of the rooms and amenities are high/new. ‘Kozy’ rooms are best for short stays as they are truly cozy, especially sinks in the bathroom. For long stays, chose a regular/double.“

„Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping ...
