Our check in process was a little stressful as the first thing we were told was that there was a little hiccup with our room we had reserved and already paid for. The balcony was unusable so we could keep the room or change to a âless especially roomâ in their other location. We chose to keep the room even if we could not use the balcony. The front desk manager told us that we would receive a $200 resort credit for the inconvenience. Which we were more than happy with! But then we waited over any hour in the lobby as they got the room ready. Again we were patient and all of the staff was wonderful. When we finally got keys to room and what not, we gave our card for incidentals and were told it would just be taxes and fees. The rest of the day and evening were great, besides not being able to order drinks from the pool and our AC clicking on and off all night long. We had breakfast at the restaurant and the food and service were absolutely amazing!!! We expressed these concerns to the front desk at check out and they were apologetic. Later in the day while in Sedona we notice a charge on our credit card for $875 even though we had paid for our room prior to check in. I called an asked to speak to a manger, he wasnât in until 2pm and did all me back a little after 2. He explained the charge was a night stay plus incidentals and taxes that they run even if you paid prior. This was a shock to us, and was not communicated to us at check in. We really wish the Mishaps were avoided
