We had an incredible stay at this beautiful Sedona home! It was perfect for our group of seven ladiesâspacious, well-laid-out, and with absolutely stunning views. The location was ideal: close to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and private enough to truly unwind. The host was wonderfulâvery responsive and helpful. We had a small issue with the hot tub motor during our stay, and the host addressed it promptly so we could enjoy it on our last day, which was much appreciated.Sedona is truly magical, and this home made our experience even more special. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with a group!
Our group of four couples enjoyed a relaxing 4-night stay at this spacious villa. The property is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just a short drive from Sedona and many nearby attractions. The home easily accommodated our group and included all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool and hot tub were definite highlightsâperfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Just note that thereâs an additional charge of 100 USD per day to heat the pool, which is something to consider when planning your visit. While the villa offers plenty of space and convenience, it is beginning to show some signs of wear. The main fridge freezer was not working during our stay, though there were backup units available in the garage. We also noticed that some of the patio tiles around the pool area were loose, which led to a few stubbed toes.Overall, we were happy with our stay and appreciated the layout and location of the property. However, given the rental price, some general maintenance and updates would enhance the experience and bring the property back to its full potential.
This home has stunning views - as advertised - in every direction. And we loved how convenient the location was to some of the best hikes. Everything was just wonderful.
We had many issues with this home. The property manager, Jackie, was VERY responsive but we couldnât shake the feeling of bugs crawling everywhere. Jackie said the bugs came from outside (of course!) and had someone come spray the exterior immediately. This didnât change the fact that we saw multiple (!!!) cockroaches every day of our stay including some dead ones in the master closet. There was also a millipede in the master shower. The home needs some serious attention. Arizona doesnât really grow grass unless you look on the pool deck. There is a giant missing tile from the master bathtub (looks tacky and it was in other reviews so they just donât care). The master doorknob is broken and I often felt locked in the room and had to have help opening the door. It also doesnât lock in a proper way. Our pool heat didnât work for two days (or the spa). We were refunded for those two days since pool heat is an additional 100/day but spa heat is included and we got no compensation for that. For the price we paid, none of these things should have been an issue. A responsive manager does not make me want to stay here again. The cockroach problem should be seriously looked into.
Loved the property and location. The house is beautiful and spacious. Great for lounging by the pool or fire. We had everything we needed for the kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. the house and yard were clean. One minor complaint was that i couldnt figure out how to heat the pool - if it can be heated. i messaged the owner through the VRBO and didnt get a respone. probably should have texted them. that was my fault. loved our stay.
We are a group of friends who went to college together 30 years ago and get together for a long weekend once a year. This house is in a quiet neighborhood perfect for relaxing outdoors. The hot tub is a highlight, especially when itâs too cold for the pool. All of the bedrooms were comfortable, and there is plenty of room to gather (we were a party of 8). There are a Whole Foods and Safeway a short drive north into town as well as lots of restaurant options. The hosts were very responsive and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend!
PROS-location -open living room-hot tub/pool-mattress comfort-bathrooms and towels-game offerings(poker table to board games)-outdoor spaces and red rock views!!-responsive owner-viewing stars at night!CONS-main fridge broken, after insisting owner supplied ahead an extra working fridge in kitchen, and main fridge fixed mid-way through stay.-"luxury" advertisement questionable due to some missing attention to details. -caked in plant/tree debris on deck getting into hot tub-weeds in pavers around pool-lack of organization in storage areas for kitchen items, pantry looked a little messy-primary bedroom closet was a storage area for baby supplies, although nice for families with little kids, not organized nor stored away neatly.
This property was ideal for our annual friend reunion. The views from the living room, patio, and master bedroom are incredible, and there was ample space for us to gather. We enjoyed meals indoors and out, spent evenings under starry skies around the fire pit and hot tub, etc. It was also very conveniently located to drive into Sedona for shopping and dining and to explore the amazing sights. I would love to return with my family.
The home was beautiful but not well cleaned or maintained. We had mice actually caught one in the sticky traps that âweâ bought. Unfortunately also caught a roach. Hot tub didnât work our whole stay, paid for heated pool which was never heated. Lock on front door had to be repaired day one. Owner was responsive and did refund our pool heating money and a small portion of our money, but we felt the refund should have been more for all we experienced.
We used the property for our family gathering with 3 adult children & their spouses and our 5 month old granddaughter. The property was very spacious, giving everyone room to gather together or get away to spend time alone when needed. We prepared a lot of meals and found the kitchen spacious and well stocked with cooking tools. There were also plenty of items for the baby. I would highly recommend this property.
Our family of five had an unforgettable stay at this incredible rental home. Upon entering the home, we were immediately struck by how clean it smelled â truly the cleanest rental we have ever experienced. The views from the property were stunning and were just as pictured. The pool and hot tub became our go-to spots for unwinding after a day of hiking and exploring the nearby trails. Its proximity to trails, shops, and restaurants made our stay even more convenient. Inside the home, there were numerous cozy spaces to hang out and relax, making it perfect for both family time and individual downtime. It was well-stocked with all the essentials. Jackie and Sam were fantastic hosts, responding promptly to our inquiries about the hot tub's low water level (which they were able to fix immediately) and informing us about a minor issue with the refrigerator. Their attentiveness made our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this rental for a perfect vacation!
Words can't describe the view! Every window we looked out of had spectacular views. Nice, quiet neighborhood close enough to Sedona but not so close that we'd get stuck in traffic. Home was beautifully decorated and kitchen was stocked with everything. And we were in that pool every day!
A few things need to be attended to. Four inch weeds were growing all over the pool deck, a massive tile was missing from the bath tub...things like that. It's hard to say how long the food was in the fridge from the last guests before it was cleaned out, but two garbage cans were filled well beyond capacity when we arrived and the fridge had a smell.
The managers were very prompt and helpful...even bringing a second fridge by when it was running quite warm. But it was a known problem before we arrived, which would have been helpful to know before going grocery shopping. These are all very easy fixes so I wouldn't worry too much about it. But luxury is proactive, not reactive. Luxury also doesn't post a review guide on the fridge. Sorry, but if the place is near uninhabitable, it's not getting two stars. It's getting a call to VRBO (and maybe the health department). A minor annoyance but I've seen it in a few "luxury" properties and it's hard to imagine the Ritz posting that.
Again, all minor things. It did not detract from the gorgeous location and home overall. Just needs a little TLC and some proactive management and then the five star review is easy!
The view of cathedral rock and chapel hill from the property was exceptional! The size of the house was exactly what we expected and perfect for two couples and three singles and could definitely could have accommodated a few more. The pool and hot tub were a perfect reprieve after a day of hiking! The house had everything we could have hoped for including coffee, coffee makers, plenty of silverware, paper towels, napkins, spices, clean linens and towels and top of the line appliances.
Things we would have liked to have, but were not there were a welcome booklet with information on local restaurants, hikes, grocery stores and delivery services. Information on how to operate the hot tub, and heating/AC system. We were surprised to find the pool service show up unannounced one afternoon while we were using the pool. We were not able to use it again for an hour after cleaning. The house was surface clean and most likely the owners do not visit the property often because there were a few things they would have noticed by spending time there such as one of the bathroom fans not working, another bathroom did not have a properly functioning faucet in the shower and there was a hole in the screen in the kitchen. These issues did not significant impact our stay and when we contacted the owners they replied quickly and said they would address the issues. However, but none of them were fixed during our stay.
Overall this was a perfect size for our family and almost perfect!
This property is beautiful and perfectly located â in a quiet neighborhood but close to stores, restaurants, etc. Well stocked â bath and pool towels, soaps, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Our family had a really great trip!
Sedona is amazing - perfect location in a beautiful quite neighborhood - a few recommendation to make this stay a little better would have to have more daily staples like paper towels , toilet paper, napkins etc we think the pool heat should be included in stay and overall backyard could have been a little cleaner a yet we give it 14 Thumbs up !
Great house for your family. We spent most of our time in the living room/dining room area just hanging out ... but made sure to end every night in the hot tub. Great kitchen, spacious bedrooms, beautiful house.
The house was on a quiet street in a cute neighborhood, but still close to all the highlights Sedona has to offer. The views from the front and back of the property were beautiful, and we were even lucky to be there when it snowed. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our party of 6. We all enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fire pit in the back. The property manager was always very responsive and helpful. It was also great that the house had a highchair, stroller, and crib for our daughter. There were a few little things that could be fixed which we communicated to the property manager, but overall, we really enjoyed the property and had a great time in Sedona.
