« Location is everything! Just off the main shopping/restaurant street in downtown Capitola and a 1 minute walk to the beach. Comfortable stay with everything we needed. My only suggestion would be a different heating system for the downstairs living area. It never warmed up. The floor heaters worked great upstairs. »

« Discrepancies between listing on VRBO and actual accommodations: refrigerator and microwave were in a common area, NOT in the room, as listed. It was difficult to find the switch for the gas fireplace which was the only heat in the room and it was very cold, window open, when we arrived late in the evening (host was notified of late arrival.) « Overall the room was okay. Things would be a lot better if the host would answer her phone or call us back. I tried 3 different times to contact her, and could not. The bed is missing the center support, and sleep has been challenging, the bed feels broken. The fireplace. If it wasn’t for the fact that you could feel the heat coming from it, you wouldn’t know that it was on. Not very romantic. I am very disappointed in the host… »
