« From check in through to check out the staff were very good. Breakfast was excellent and our room was comfy, quiet and had all the amenities that you would expect. The hotel was perfect for our stay and provided ample free parking which gave us a good base for our few days in Bath. It is halfway up a hill which was not a problem for us but for others not keen on walking up hill then be prepared to get a taxi or bus back from the town centre. »

Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. "The public areas are excellent and inviting. Thank you for the constant supply of cold water fountains during an extreme heatwave. The criticism is for poor HOUSEKEEPING. We stayed 5 nights. Used cups/glasses never collected, room never vacuumed, liquid soap dispensers never replenished, toilet paper almost depleted (we had to ask), bed making just thrown together, our room totally forgotten one day. Seems to be a real lack of staff, training and supervision in this department. "
