The nearby Ingleborough Cave and White Scar Cave (12 miles) present fascinating subterranean wonders and the impressive Malham Cove and Gordale Scar can be reached in under 8 miles. The bustling market town of Skipton, with its medieval castle and vibrant market, is just 16 miles away and, if adventure takes you further afield, the Lake District National Park can be reached in 25 miles. There are a variety of walks from the property with mixed ability levels and a cycle route at the end of the drive.

Taking it's name from Sir Edward Elgar who stayed as a guest of the family, often playing the piano in the front room, this magnificent house dates back to the 19th century and was built for a local mill owner. Arriving at this magnificent holiday home is a grand experience, with ample off-road parking for up to 12 cars setting the stage for a luxurious stay. Ascend the steps to the impressive front door and step inside through the original wooden entrance doors. The open-plan reception room immediately captivates with its feature brass and tiled fireplace, adorned with plush velvet sofas and a Smart TV. For younger guests, "the Naughty Corner" beckons with a delightful array of books, games, and dress-up items. The spacious kitchen/diner, a sociable hub for home-cooking and gathering, is equipped with state of the art appliances and an extendable dining table for memorable mealtimes. On the ground floor, three spacious en-suite bedrooms await, each boasting en-suite rainfall showers and WC's, crisp white linen and a blend of contemporary interiors and period features, including original fireplaces. Two of these bedrooms feature large bay windows with views across Settle, providing an ideal retreat to relax and recharge, and the third boasts a stunning four-poster bed and access out to the garden. Ascend the sweeping staircase to the first floor where a second spacious living area with a kitchen and bar area invites relaxation. Enjoy group activities, read a book or savour drinks on one of the three velvet sofas while soaking in breathtaking views across Pen-y-ghent and Settle.
