The cabin was clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and basic cookware. Checkout was quick and easy.The private indoor pool the main reason we booked this cabin was not functional for our entire stay. Upon arrival, the pool water was freezing. Despite multiple messages, we received delayed and inconsistent responses. We were told a pool technician would come on Wednesday, but no one showed up. Later after having to message the host, we were informed that a new heater had already been ordered on Tuesday, which raised concerns about whether the issue was known prior to our arrival or if the property was accessed outside of what was agreed upon. We were repeatedly told we would receive updates, but none were provided.Throughout the remainder of our stay, communication was limited to requests for additional property access to service the propane system and automated checkout messages. After returning home and following up several times, we were offered a 5% refund, which felt inadequate given that the pool was never usable.While we understand that issues can happen, especially during the holidays, the lack of urgency and need for repeated follow-ups made it seem that resolving our concerns was not a priority. As a result, we would be hesitant to stay here or at other properties managed by this host.Other cons: Thin pillows and blankets, Low quality toilet paper, limited trash bags, and a dishwasher that sometimes would stop mid cycle.
