We were really looking forward to our stay based on the excellent reviews, but our experience didn’t quite match what we expected. While the space is attractively decorated and pet-friendly, there were several issues that made the stay less comfortable than we’d hoped.Some lights weren’t working—including a bedside lamp and a main room light—and the overall lighting setup felt a bit mismatched, with either very dim or overly harsh fluorescent lights. The game room came with broken ping-pong balls (though replacements were provided quickly when we asked, which we appreciated).The biggest concern for us was that one of the main sofas had a strong odor of animal urine. We let the host know, but unfortunately didn’t receive a response or resolution. As someone with allergies, this made it difficult to enjoy time in that part of the house.The layout also felt a bit different from what we expected—more like two joined modular units than a cohesive upscale space. The pillows were quite thin and crinkly, and the floors didn’t feel very clean (our socks were quite dirty after a day of walking around indoors).This may be a good fit for pet owners or families looking for a casual spot with amenities, but for us, it didn’t quite live up to the listing or prior reviews.
