Progressive disappointment throughout stay

We stayed in June and had difficulty from day one. 1. There is no indication of the address for the cabin, not at the road, the drive way or on the cabin. So arrival is a guessing game.2. The driveway and play area are overgrown, so if you are protective of your vehicle getting scratches rethink your stay because it’s a steep walk up to the cabin.3. We found used contacts and a clogged drain which we resolved ourselves after outreach was not responded to.4. There was no indication that the outdoor grill had propane running to it, we cooked inside. Apparently it has its own gas line, I was notified yesterday (a week after we checked out).5. Do not buy groceries your first night, the refrigerator does not cool until about 48 hours later no matter how minimal groceries you have inside.6. There is construction of sorts across the street that starts at 7am, loud yelling back and forth, heavy equipment and even occasional partial blockage of the driveway from the construction vehicles making it difficult to pull in and out safely. 7. It could have been a fellow vacationer or a resident, but during our entire stay the house above the back porch had dogs out that barked constantly. So we couldn’t enjoy the front porch due to construction and couldn’t enjoy the back porch because the dogs would bark if we were outside.8. Of course resolution will be made for others staying according to the response I received from our complaints, with no offer to make things right for us.

Amazing house

Was an amazing house. Favorite spot was the outside patio with tv and hot tub. We all hung out there a lot. The fire made it perfect on chilly nights! Would definitely stay again!

Very Nice, but needs improvement

This cabin was beautiful! It had a wonderful, secluded feel to it, being off the main drag but still easily drivable to everything you want. The covered porch was our favorite space. It was huge and had very nice seating and an outdoor fireplace. The bedrooms were quite spacious and comfortable, especially the main floor suite with its walk in closet. We had 13 people with us and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was also wonderfully stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking and baking. Some things that needed attention:The hot tub was in need of a good scrub, and we could not get the grill to light nor was it cleaned after the last use. The fireplace in the living area would not light. The owner did say he was getting a service tech to work on it. This did not impact our stay as we enjoyed the outdoor area fireplace the best. The air hockey table needs a new surface in order for it to work properly and the playground could use a new mulching as the tarp underneath was visible in many areas. I also think the play area could use a small fence around it as the margins of the playground come right up to the edge of a very steep ravine. Overall our large group had a blast and would definitely consider this property in the future!

Great week away

Beautiful property, there was plenty to do and the kids loved the game area and playground. The house was well stocked and very clean upon arrival. Our favorite part of the house was the beautiful porch back porch.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

The idealistic mountain cabin! Perfect for our large family of 7 adults and 2 littles. The home is situated to give everyone privacy when needed, and large gathering places when you want to be together. Its location is remote enough to give you the feel of being alone on the mountain, yet just minutes away from Pigeon Forge. Extremely comfortable bedding, lots of outdoor spaces, and wonderful hosts who are responsive and friendly. 10/10 recommend and would most definitely stay there again!

Family get together fun

The beds are very comfortable. Outdoor space with jacuzzi was nice but seemed well loved. The setting was relaxing and private. Nice open area with kitchen, dining and living room spacious. Great for a family get together.

Weekend getaway

My friends and their wives and children shared this cabin with us and we had a blast! Local DG and restaurants 5 minutes away. The cabin itself was clean and in great condition and the kids loved the hot tub and the playground outside. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a roomy and clean rental for adults or the kids. Thank you again to the owners for letting us stay here!

Outdoor patio

Cabin accomadated our family very well. Gameroom and hot tub was a hit with the kids. Loved the large patio. Great for sitting enjoying morning coffee and having breakfast. Late evening tv while kids in hot tub. Peaceful after a long day outing. A great trip.

Cabin get away

We have rented several cabins thru the years with different family groups and this one was my favorite. Property is not in a development clustered right next to other properties. The outdoor space is great. Game room is fun and the mattresses are newer and slept great.

Perfect Escape!

This was our first visit to this part of Tennessee. This home is beautiful, comfortable, EXACTLY as described in the listing. It feels quite remote, but is very convenient to all the attractions, giving a nice place to unwind after a busy day. We can’t wait to return!

Main bedroom had bed bugs…

The place felt/looked clean and we seemingly had no issues *until* our 2nd day, when I noticed red, itchy bites all over my head, hands, and legs. The main bedroom in the kitchen level had lots of bed bugs hidden in the zipper seams of the mattress. We had to pack up and bolt 2 days from our spring break vacation, and then decontaminate everything once we got home. It was pretty traumatic. The host was responsive and said they were going to have it treated. We got most of our money back (they would not give back VRBO fees), but it ruined the vacation and ended up costing us several days of vacation, lots of drive time/gas and two days of fun with the family. As nice as the property and location is, we could never stay here again because of that.

Amazing

Absolutely loved the house it was gorgeous! Very spacious and clean! The kids loved the game room. Mrs. Irina made check in and check out very easy along with all the instructions for everything. I really wished we could’ve stayed longer but look forward to staying again!
