Great rental! The views are spectacular. Plenty of room for our large extended family. The pool was a hit with the kids for sure. We had a couple minor maintenance issues, but they were addressed timely. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a second washer/dryer to assist with laundry for 20 people for a week. We had to wash towels daily.

We loved how spacious this cabin was. The kids were entertained for hours with the pool and hot tub. Preparing meals was very easy with the spacious kitchen, with 2 of every appliance! This cabin was great for our large group.

The house itself has amazing views and a great layout for large groups. The location is nice and easy to get to as well. The kitchen definitely needed some more items especially for large groups and small household items like soap and dish soap were in short supply but overall a great property and would stay there again.

Everything was excellent! There was confusuion about the door code but they responded to messages within a minute or 2.The ONLY thing I would do differently as the owner is add a couple more trash cans or coordinate a pick up. There are 6 there, but 3 meals a day for 23 people makes for quick filling. We did get it all into bags and in the bear boxes though. 1 more day and we would have struggled.We LOVED the cabin and our experience with the management. It was an excellent way to celebrate our 50th bdays with friends.

Great house for a large group

We LOVED our stay at this house! The owners were quick to respond and provided excellent details about the house. The space was ideal for a multi-family group, great common areas and the bedroom setup allows each room to have a private bath/tub or shower. The kitchen was awesome for cooking large meals since everything was in duplicate (2 fridges, 2 stoves, 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, etc). The views were insanely beautiful and something we marveled at each night on the balconies! And the cherry on the top was a pool our kids will likely talk about for the rest of their lives (average age was 6 and many of them could stand in all or most parts of the pool which was great for us parents)! 10/10 would absolutely rent again and recommend to anyone looking for a spot for multiple families!

Birthday Trip

I rented NorthStar for my 60th birthday. We wanted a place where my extended family could join us and have the space to relax without being on top of each other. This house definitely fit the bill. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us. Having 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens/cooktops was perfect for the breakfasts and dinners we prepared.The view was incredible. Most of the family agreed that we had a better view than most anywhere else. We also had a few bears visit, so that was exciting.The only problem we had was the televisions in the bedrooms were no longer connected to cable, just to be used to stream. Unfortunately the remotes were from the cable box, so the televisions in the bedrooms weren’t able to be used. Upon notifying the management company, they looked into the problem and sent out new remotes. All in all, that was not a big deal, or enough to disappoint any of us.Thanks for a beautiful house, and an amazing place to make memories with my family for my 60th birthday!!

Beautiful house but....

Our stay had both highlights and drawbacks. The cabin was beautiful and the location was perfect—GPS led us straight there, and we had no issues getting up the hill in our school bus.Unfortunately, we ran into some issues. Despite reaching out to management and saying they could send someone to fix them, no one ever came. The kitchen was a big concern for our group of 23. One stove burner didn’t work, and the other didn’t heat properly. The oven wouldn't hold temp. If you plan to use the dishwasher, bring your own pods—the provided ones didn’t work well. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets, no teaspoons, and not enough utensils. The pots and pans were low quality with black residue—we had to wash everything.The cabin was clean overall and the beds were comfortable, but there were spiderwebs and tunnels inside every window. Students killed several spiders and cleaned the webs.The front door wasn’t secure—it could be pushed open even when locked, which was unsettling with bears in the area. Also, a lower-level toilet leaked throughout our stay.On the positive side, the views were stunning. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit were amazing and made for great group moments.

Amazing stay!!!!!

We all loved everything about this cabin!!! Such a beautiful place and spot. The pool was amazing, the layout was perfect!!!!! The whole trip was absolutely amazing thanks to this beautiful cabin!Our only concern: the driveway has a few spots that are raised up and someone almost tripped on it. Maybe a good idea would be to paint the high spots with some high visibility paint!!! But everything was so wonderful!!!!! Thank you so much!

Wonderful cabin

This cabin was perfect. It had a wonderful view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The hot tub and indoor pool was great to have after a long day of sightseeing in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The kitchen was spacious and allowed for us to cook big meals for our group without much hassle.This cabin is absolutely wonderful and definitely I will definitely recommend this to others.

Great View But Needs Some TLC

I waited to post this so host took it seriously and did not think I was fishing for a refund. I am not. But,first impressions truly matter. The front door is truly weathered and blue paint worn off. Dangerously high chlorine levels in the pool upon arrival that permeated the house. We opened all windows, doors and a pool maintenance man came and confirmed the problem. He neutralized the chemicals and by morning it was better. There are two water leaks in the house. One in a back stairwell. One is right over the kitchen counter and comes from the shower directly above...Noticed when preparing Thanksgiving dinner and our homemade fudge had to be tossed due to contaminated water. No blankets on the beds; only a sheet and thin bedspread (bring your own). Heating in the home irregular. The bedrooms with a view overheat (80 at nights) and the bedrooms facing driveway do not heat (65 at night). Three of the bathrooms are missing shower plugs. We pulled and shared. My husband fixed a door knob with his tool kit. It was on backwards. The big windows needs to be cleaned as they were full of spider webs and dirt. The rug in living room needs to be replaced as it is quite dirty and has animal hair on it (noticed because we had 2 infants lying on the rug). The views are great and overall home fine just needs to be put into a maintenance cycle for a couple weeks to tidy these things. New builds are happening just behind this home which we went and looked at in order to book another trip.

Nice for groups

Beautiful pool and great living room and eating spaces for big groups to be together. Bathrooms are dark and could be nicer. There is no counter space to set anything down and floors seem unfinished around tubs. Two of the beds had a huge massive bend in the mattress that we found had broken boards under the bed upon cleaning to leave. The views are stunning. Nice place that we really enjoyed.

Making Memories

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin! We enjoyed the beautiful mountain scenery including the sightings of bears! The pool, hot tub, and making smores each night around the fire pit was also a big hit for everyone. This property is well maintained and was very clean when we arrived. We plan to rent this cabin again!

Lovely Stay With Beautiful Views

The views from this lodge are nothing short of AMAZING! Being outside was just as enjoyable as being inside this property. The rooms were spacious, having two staircases was brilliant too. There was plenty of refrigerator space and having two ovens and a gas grill was fantastic! We did have a large bear walk alongside the deck outside of the kitchen while reading outside…quite a surprise! Having the lower level all pool space was super special, something we’ve never experienced before and it was a hit with the children and adults alike! Everyone had nothing but good things to say about this property. It was steep getting up to the lodge but we had no problem making it up. It was also in a decent proximity to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Girl's Bookclub Mountain Retreat

This year we chose a mountain trip for our "Pages" Bookclub weekend retreat. This gorgeous property did not disappoint. We were a ladies' group of fourteen. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The views were breathtaking! We enjoyed the accommodations and the surrounding areas.
