The views were great and it was a comfortable cabin with lots of things to do inside the cabin. The deck was nice to sit on and enjoy the views and weather it looked like they had started to replace boards that needed it. The game room was fun/ nice tvs for the evening. Close enough to things while still feeling secluded and having space.If you have a little one there are stairs so watch them or bring a gate. Good space for a pack n play in bedroom.My issues was it was dirty- under bed had dirty and dusty coming out, window had dead bugs in them and dirty, as well as baseboards. The fridge had a smell and the towes smelled stale. I had to wash the sheets and the matress cover had stains like pee on them. The tub upstaris had something stickey on the edge of the tub.They say"The private road is considered mountainous but not steep" but the last part of the one lane road is steep. I've been on lots of roads in TN, KY, VA, etc and this may not be the steepest but it's still steep on the last part and narrow so you can't pass other cars so just be aware. Also the cleaning tip envelope had a note on the back from a prior person that said "we used tub and shower in basement. Brought those towles up and put in laundry room today as they were very wet. Used bedroom on main level. " This is why we did laundey before sleeping on the bed or using towels, because we didn't know if they had been before we arrived. Overall okay cabin to stay in and worked for our needs.

Relaxing Quality Time

Great secluded location. Not for anyone unconfortable with narrow road mountain drive. Although I managed to navigate my full sized crew cab Denali 2500 HD truck in and back out. Clean cabin, hot tub was nice, games were fun, view is great if you like the outdoors and mountains like we do. Would stay again if we get the time to do it.

The cabin is beautiful and in a perfect location nestled in the woods about 15 minutes from all the actives and restaurants of Pigeon Forge. My children enjoyed the game room. The only thing we wished we had brought were a couple of additional pillows. A wonderful place to stay!

Great cabin in the Smokies!

This cabin was perfect! Great game room for the kids and adults. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after long hikes. The Bear Paw Cabin had everything that we needed. Beautifully decorated, wonderfull balcony for sipping mornjng coffee. This cabin was a great location with a beautiful short drive in to town! We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome home with a fantastic view

This is such a great property! It’s beautiful and well equipped for rainy days, with all the fun stuff to do in the basement. We came to celebrate our son’s 12th birthday and played pool, air hockey, arcade games and board games right there. He loved it! The kitchen has things like coffee filters, which lots of properties don’t (and I get it…they can’t have everything), but it was nice. We always bring everything because they’re not ever this well stocked. This property is a little secluded and we loved that, too. I can tell why it has such high reviews.

Family getaway

Great place!

This cabin was great and so was the communication with the host. Loved that light switch’s were labeled! Had a full size laundry area, not stackable, and a full size vacuum. Great location not near a lot of other cabins. Felt like the cleaners could have done a better job upon arrival.

Bear Paws Cabin was beautiful. We loved the privacy and quiet, scenic drive to the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and more. There are plenty of games for everyone in your party. The hosts were great. We will be coming back to this cabin again.

Nice cabin, secluded

We had a great time staying at the Mikes cabin. My kids and husband enjoyed the game room, we all had a blast playing each other with all the games and board games. There’s a lot to do in the cabin itself. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, it was perfect for me. For the people who aren’t really used to driving in the mountains this ride could be a little scary for them as it was for us. The first route we took to the cabin took us through the mountains with a lot of windy roads that were narrow and then the sharp turn, the other road that takes you to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg was much more roomy and not nearly as scary I wish I would’ve known about that route before I drove the other way. Also, make sure to screen shot the door code before you get up into the mountains as you may have no service like we did and we were unable to get on the app to use the phone we had to drive all the way back down the mountain to be able to access the app. Over all we had the best time and enjoyed the cabin so much! Thank you Mike for being a great host and renting your beautiful cabin to us.
