Cabanes à Shenandoah

« This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

« In the hustle and bustle of the electrical contracting world, this place was a perfect retreat from the grind. The hot tub was amazing and the views were even better. The cabin was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and thank goodness it was 100 most of the week. Will be taking other adventures soon and you’ll be at the top of the list for communicating on future endeavors.! »

« I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle. However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe. The gutters had plants...

« Great place in a beautiful part of the country! Super quiet, well furnished, and a lovel place to spend some time. Hot tub was great and there's a small creek a few minutes away to catch crawfish and cool off. Highly recommended. »

« The retreat was , what can I say???? AHHHMAZING!! We absolutely loved everything . King sized bed. Decor was adorable and clean, clean, clean. Wood fired hot tub...what a cool concept. Michael, our host was more than accommodating to all our needs and responded to all questions in a timely manner. Although, we didn't bring our four-legged pooch, Stella was nice to know the entire retreat in Pup friendly.We will be back again and more than likely bring friends and family. A.must visit!!! »

« The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....

« Adorable property, close to downtown Harper’s Ferry, the brewery and Maryland Heights. Property was very well stocked. Our only complaints were the jagged/sharp edges of the sheet metal in the shower. The mattress was also quite uncomfortable. Otherwise, we would greatly enjoyed our stay! »
