„Etwas abseits gelegenes, aber ruhiges und günstiges Hotel in der Nähe von Colchester. Frühstück war inbegriffen und bis auf den Kaffee auch gut. Freies WiFi. Lift war kaputt. Sonst aber alles ok. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.“

„The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. „This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime, ...
