« The location was great and the cabin was perfect! If you're looking for a log cabin in the quiet woods on the river, this is it. It was spacious and comfortable and impressively clean! The cabin had everything we needed, too. The shower water pressure was great. The only negative of our trip was the insane brood of mosquitos! « This is our second year at Loon Rising. Everything was great yet again! We had some unforseen family complications that impacted our trip, and Robert was so very understanding and worked with us on some last minute trip changes. I can't thank you enough! « Quiet location, easy access to lots of Michigan outdoor activities. Wide open space with lots of beds (7-8 beds total, but limited privacy). We were primarily just looking for a place to sleep and it fit the bill perfectly. Billiards table to enjoy. Lots of seating and lots of space if you had a larger group. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Easy to tidy up since it's all linoleum flooring. »

« Rose Ann never disappoints! The cabin is always clean, neat & tidy, and most everything you need is there. If not, all you gotta do is ask, and as a general rule, she can help out. This is our 3rd year staying at her cabin and we love it (and her!) she offers old fashioned home spun hospitality! We’ll definitely be staying again next year! »

« My family had a great time. Check in was easy. The house was comfortable and had plenty of room for two adults and four teens. The beach is nice and sandy and just steps from the back deck. Got plenty of use from the grill and kayaks too. Great place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation. »

« When we first arrived, we immediately noticed the beautiful view, open & spacious living areas, as well as the cleanliness of the home - the floors were literally shining! This home was the perfect fit for our family (2 grandparents, 3 "kids", & 3 grandchildren - ages 9, 7, & 4).
