South Golden Sanctuary - 3 Minuten zum Strand

South Golden Sanctuary is a beautifully designed 4-bed, 3-bath beach house, just a 3-minute flat walk from South Golden Beach.

Multiple living and outdoor entertaining areas give everyone space to come together or spread out, making it ideal for two families sharing a coastal getaway.

Set between the beach and river, enjoy surfing, kayaking, bushwalks or simply relaxing at home.

Walk to the beach and local café in 3 minutes, with Brunswick Heads 10 minutes and Byron Bay 20 minutes by car.

Tucked behind a rare volcanic stone facade this residence exists in its own green universe. Mature trees create a canopy overhead while the sound of the ocean becomes the soundtrack to daily life.

The moment you enter, you're enveloped by light. Four-metre ceilings soar above the sunken entry lounge, where large-format Italian stone tiles create a stage for gathering. The wood-burning fireplace commands attention, its backing crafted from the same stone that defines the exterior. This isn't just an entry. It's a statement.

Move through the home and discover Blackbutt hardwood floors flowing throughout both levels. The open-plan kitchen is a study in thoughtful detail with Caesarstone benchtops and a 90cm five-burner gas stove with dual electric ovens. Above the island hangs a one-of-a-kind pendant light - fashioned from driftwood recovered from a local beach - catching the ever-changing natural light that floods this space.

The ground floor offers flexibility with a media room that is seperate to the main living/loung room and a full bathroom with feature tiles completes this level.

An open Blackbutt staircase - custom-crafted by local artisans - draws you upward to the first floor, where generous 2.7m ceilings continue the sense of space and light.

Upstairs, the master suite is a retreat within a retreat. A large sleeping area flows into a walk-in robe and an expansive ensuite where a freestanding bath invites long soaks.

Bedrooms two and three are mirror images of each other - spacious, light-filled rooms with massive windows framing views of green and huge built-in robes.

Upstairs there is also an office or fourth bedroom, depending on your needs (This comes with a queen bed OR set up as an office)

The 3 bathrooms all offer huge showers, frameless screens and brushed copper tapware, with feature walls of stunning locally sourced tiles adding texture and warmth.

The luxurious hardwood front deck is more than an outdoor space - it's a covered year-round entertaining area with a stone feature wall, creating the perfect threshold between the home's interior and the green sanctuary beyond. Step out the back and you'll find a lovely rear deck overlooking a serene backyard complete with a firepit area.

The fully fenced property offers three generous grassed areas amid extensive mature landscaping. The striking dark exterior facade creates a dramatic contrast against the surrounding vegetation - you'll feel like you're living in a treehouse, with green visible from every window.

We are open to offer of longer term rentals so please feel free to contact us with any specific requests.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:

Wide, flat roads with no gutters hark back to a simpler time. Kids play freely, people greet each other and there's a genuine 1970s beach vibe that feels increasingly rare.

Between the beach and the river, you're equally close to morning surf sessions and afternoon kayaking expeditions. Wooyung Reserve sits on your doorstep with family-friendly swimming, bushwalks, and bike rides.

Bay Roots café serves exceptional coffee, Lebanese cuisine, and fresh cold-pressed juices - just one of the neighbourhood gems that makes this area special.

Brunswick Heads is only 10 minutes away for a plethora of cafes and restaurants, and the bright lights of Byron are only 25 minutes south with all the attractions of the Gold Coast a 30-minute drive north.
