A love seat and sofa (which converts into a queen-size sleeper) offer a fabulous social space for unwinding. The entertainment center boasts a state-of-the-art sound system, DVD player, and flat-screen smart TV with cable.
KITCHEN & DINING
Fully stocked with all the gadgets you’ll need to prepare your favorite foods, the kitchen is outfitted with new white cabinetry, new granite countertops, and new appliances. While dinner simmers, enjoy a cold beverage at the kitchen bar with seating for three.
Gather your group around the dinner table for a lovely family-style meal and relive the day’s escapades. The dining room table seats six. After dinner, mix favorite cocktails at the brand-new wet bar.

Take in stunning Gulf of Mexico views from the master bedroom’s large, sun-filled windows, or grab a book from the shelves and stretch out on the king bed. This bedroom also provides a smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with granite countertops and a glass walk-in shower.

THE LOCATION
Suntide II Resort offers a prime location for limitless shopping and dining. Blackbeards, located just a few blocks away, is a local favorite for island cuisine and steaks.
Another South Padre staple is the Wanna Wanna Inn, a beachfront bar and grill with a fun tiki theme and delicious snack foods.
Spring Break During spring break wristbands may be required with extra fees.

NO PARTY POLICY: This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team monitors compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. SuntideII vet
I’ve been coming to SPI and staying at Suntide II since 1998. This was by far the best room. I wish the kitchen was a little better stocked and more linens/extra blankets. But over all it was wonderful and I can’t wait to book again next year. It’s been beautifully redone.

Great Customer Service
We had some questions about the condo and customer service was there to help via text almost immediately. They were so helpful! The condo was beautifully updated and clean. We loved the convenient access to the pool/beach from the back door, however it would have been helpful to be able to lock that door after leaving. The primary bed was SO COMFORTABLE, which we greatly appreciated!

No internet connection
Not enough parking, had a lot of trouble getting access to the property. The internet was not working properly your cell phone internet works better. The RR only had 2 rolls of toilet paper. The back door to the beach we had a lot of trouble opening it. We contacted the manager they never went by to check the internet and other issues. Too much money for the stay.

Fantastic condo on beach
We loved that you are literally stepping onto the beach from back door. Everything we needed was basically right there. Place was great. Only thing we found out was one of the beds was made up with queen size sheets in a king size bed. We kept having to try to tuck in flat queen sheet. Very uncomfortable when came undone at night.

Great vacation at Suntide II
Everything was nice and the beach was close and easy to get to. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, even though the wind made it a bit cooler. Furnishings were nice and just as shown in photos. I think the rugs could be replaced/updated.
Also, I suggest that anyone who decides to stay here should be very aware of the parking rules and read instructions carefully. They are very strict about parking and we talked with several people who had gotten their cars towed.

Second time to stay at this property.
This is our second summer at this property. We really like how close and convenient beach access is!!! It is a very short walk out to the beach. The only issues we had was the second bathroom was not clean on arrival and the door knob on the back door was broken. I will add that Vacasa sent someone very quickly to address both issues. The other issue was that the WiFi was terrible. We got an SOS signal on all our phones part of the time and had to leave the room to send text messages and make phone calls. Also had phone calls drop on us. We would stay here again because Vacasa was so attentive and location, location, location!!!

Vacasa Issues
The property was great. The until was very clean and true to the pictures. It was also fairly quiet even though the unit is near the pool. My primary issue with the stay was Vacasa’s total lack of customer service. The unit has an unnecessarily complicated combination lock on the door. Vacasa sends you a 9 digit code to open it. First, that’s far too long of a code. You shouldn’t have to pull your phone out to open the door every single time you return to the unit. Second, the lock didn’t not work consistently. Vacasa has several videos on their help site that demonstrate how to open the door. None of those videos addressed the problem we were having. They sent a person out to check the door and she had no problem opening it so definitely let me know that it was user error. However, the lock continued not to open consistently. It shouldn’t be this hard. There are thousands of combo locks for doors on the market. There’s no excuse for having one that’s complicated to operate.
