« Hôtel bien situé à quelques minutes du front de mer et du centre ville. Accueil sympathique. Le hall, le bar et la salle du restaurant sont chaleureux. En revanche la chambre est un peu vieillotte et la salle de bain mériterait une bonne rénovation ! On entend beaucoup de bruits (personnes qui parlent dans les chambres d'à côté, plafond qui craque à chaque pas dans la chambre du dessus, etc). Petit déjeuner simple mais correct. Parking devant l'hôtel ou dans la rue. »

« The only downside to this hotel is the fact that it at the top of a hill from Teignmouth. A big climb if you are travelling by train. Other than that he hotel itself was well maintained. The rooms comfy. Widescreen Tv and free wi fi. The cooked breakfasts were good and if there was anything they didn't have, you could always ask for it. Overall, a very good short holiday. Would i go again - definitely, but oh that hill. »

« I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...
