Hotel South Whidbey Island State Park

« Parking was easy and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There were many options for breakfast and the food was great. Rooms were clean and neat. I liked the idea of receiving text messages from staff that were actually responding to any questions I had. I found it a little odd that there wasn’t a coffee machine in the roo, mentioned it in one of the texts and was told they were available at the front desk by request. »

« The host was nice and communicative, and the unit was generally clean. However, the box spring for the one queen bed was soooo loud and obnoxious. The tiniest movement caused so much noise! All night long, we’d be woken up when either of us even just slightly shifted. We ended up taking the mattress off the box spring and laying it on the floor of the kitchen, and we slept so much better that way. The mattress itself isn’t bad, it’s the box spring causing an unholy amount of noise. The location...

« The structure is kinda old, so it was noisy because of the road nearby. First the reception gave us a room that had not been cleaned, and it was not a nice sight. Otherwise it was a king size bed which was very comfortable. »
