This was our first time in St Augustine. It was an amazing home base for our vacation. Located just a block off the beach, this home was clean and comfortable. We were able to find great places to eat along A1A beachside and avoid the craziness in downtown St Augustine this time of year. Hot tub was clean and is covered so you can use it rain or shine. Plenty of seating. We were able to connect to our favorite streaming services in the living room. Wish we could have in the bedroom too but definitely not the end of the world. Also, you may want to get plastic cups for drinks by the hot tub. Everything was glass. Lauren was very easy to reach and communicated everything we needed to know. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Turtle's Nest is a lovely beach house in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach. The walking path to the beach is practically right out the front door and the driving access ramp is only two blocks away. The home is in a perfect location, close to all the amenities and attractions the St. Augustine area has to offer. The home is clean, spacious and comfortable, with an open layout and a large patio where you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the washer/dryer is great for longer stays. Lauren is an excellent host, her communication is prompt and check-in/check-out process is very easy. We had a very relaxing stay at Turtle's Nest and hope to return soon.

Great stay!

Had a great time in St. Augustine. The house was just as described and was very clean! The walk to the beach was great and we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the ocean! Our dogs felt at home also. Only recommendation is to maybe have a little bit of Tupperware to help with leftovers - but overall the house was great and very comfortable!

Great Property For Spring Break

We wanted to get out of the cold in NY for a few weeks. The VRBO process of scouting locations and properties was easy and filters allowed for us to narrow in on what we wanted. We found the perfect location near the beach -- dog friendly both in the house and on the beach, near St. Augustine but in a quiet beach neighborhood. The host was quick to respond to questions and check in was seamless. The house was spotless inside and provided all the needs we had. We had about a 3 minute walk to the beach and we walked every day -- sometimes twice a day. We lucked out on the weather which was in the mid-70s many days and only one day of rain. Overall great place and thanks to Lauren our host.

2 Weeks in The Turtle's Nest St Augustine

While the weather was very uncooperative for half of our stay, the Turtles Nest was an extremely nice house to stay in. It is located only a few minutes from the beach (which is primarily empty in January) and also convenient to local restaurants and historic downtown. The house is very roomy and kitchen very up-to-date with nice appliances and cooking utensils Neighborhood is very quiet and everyone was extremely nice that we met. Highly recommend this house and will definitely stay there again for future St. Augustine visits.

Best of Butler Beach

Turtle's Nest is a wonderful beach house in a quiet neighbor, just steps away from the beach. The home is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated with a coastal vibe. If you like to do your own cooking, the spacious kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of cookware, plates, glasses, utensils. All of the bedrooms have plenty of extra pillows and blankets and there is ample closet space for storage. The best part of the home is the covered patio that faces the ocean. It's the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails after a day at the beach. The only issue we had was that the two car garage, while super neat and clean, had items stored along the sides of the walls, making it impossible for us to park our vehicle inside. Overall, Turtle's Nest is a great beach house. Lauren is a wonderful host and we will definitely come back for another great beach vacation!

Long Weekend

Lovely property in close proximity to beach access. Nicely decorated and appointed. Porch area great to enjoy a front row seat to sunrises! We had a wonderful time!

Great Getaway!

We've rented a variety of vacation places over the years. This particular home was one of the better ones! We truly appreciated the fact that the home was very clean. We're new to pet-friendly and have been horrified by bookings we had in the past (not VRBO). That wasn't the case with this home. The house has everything needed for a nice stay. The grocery store is a short drive away and we really loved the quick drive into St. Augustine! The beach is a short walk, but be prepared to walk through sand over a dune. Not an issue, but it could be a challenge for some. That being said, there were a few cars on the beach so there's probably vehicle access somewhere. Lauren is fantastic with communication - available, quick to respond, and just a great host.

Great place for families

We loved how close the house is to the beach--short walk without having to cross A1A. The neighborhood is quiet and close to places to eat and things to do in downtown St. Augustine. Kids especially loved the bunk beds. Lauren was very helpful and communicative. All around great place to stay!

10/10! We had a wonderful time! The beach was easily accessible and you could tell the home was newly remodeled, as everything in the house was clean and in great condition. It was probably a 2 minute walk from the door to the beach. Lots of space for our family of 4 and doggie. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great spring break in Florida!

Fabulous

Great location, just a few hundred feet from the beach and easy to access. Unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony. Plenty of space, everything was clean, inviting and worked great. Two car garage, plus space for 2 cars in the driveway. Butler beach, was amazing. You can drive on the beach for $10 a day if you don't feel like hauling all your stuff. Not crowded at all and beach folks were nice all around. Saw some people fishing on the beach. Waves were ok, maybe good for body surfing. Great place to bring the family. Water was cool and inviting, the surf and sand was oh so clean. Dry sand was literally squeaky clean. Sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend you take advantage of this opportunity. Bugs were not bad, totally manageable, but there were a few mosquitos.at dusk.
