Set on approximately half an acre of waterfront property, Villa Belvedere offers something truly special: unobstructed 180-degree views across the Caribbean toward St. Thomas, St. Croix, and the surrounding cays.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF ST. JOHN EXPERIENCE

Villa Belvedere is approximately 700 square feet and designed for guests who value privacy, incredible views, and outdoor island living.

The accommodations feature two private bedrooms, two bathrooms, balconies, a kitchenette, and access to the secluded outdoor pool.

Please note that this is not a traditional full villa. The original main house was heavily damaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017 and has not yet been rebuilt. We currently offer the adjoining oceanfront suites at a reduced rate for guests who don't require a full kitchen or indoor living room.

The suites include a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kitchenette, and propane grill, giving you everything you need for simple meals, morning coffee, cocktails, and relaxed island living.

What you trade in traditional indoor living space, you gain in privacy, tranquility, and extraordinary waterfront views.

Exploring St. John by car is part of the adventure, and we've made it easy by offering in-house rental vehicles directly to our villa guests.

Instead of spending your vacation coordinating with multiple companies, simply ask us about adding a rental vehicle to your Villa Belvedere stay.

We can also provide pickup at the St. John Ferry Terminal and help get you settled with your rental vehicle, so you can begin your vacation as soon as you arrive on island.

Villa Belvedere includes private, well-lit parking and is approximately 10 minutes from the Cruz Bay ferry dock.

Having your own vehicle gives you the freedom to explore St. John's incredible beaches, restaurants, National Park trails, scenic overlooks, Coral Bay, and hidden island favorites on your own schedule.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Because Villa Belvedere sits dramatically above the Caribbean on a rocky waterfront cliff, guests should remain within the designated pool and outdoor living areas and never approach or venture beyond the cliff-side boundaries. Children and minors must be supervised by an adult at all times in outdoor areas.

The suites are non-smoking.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Please plan to arrive at Villa Belvedere by 9:00 PM. Guests expecting to arrive later should contact us in advance so arrangements can be made.

ISLAND LIVING

St. John is a beautiful island with limited natural resources, and we appreciate our guests helping us protect them.

Our water is collected through a cistern system and treated through a filtration system, so we ask guests to be mindful of water consumption.

Electricity is also considerably more expensive in the Virgin Islands than in many stateside locations. Please turn off unnecessary lights, fans, and A/C when leaving the property.

As with many St. John homes, Villa Belvedere uses a private wastewater treatment system. Only toilet paper and human waste may be flushed. Please do not place feminine products, wipes, paper products, or other objects in the toilets or drains.

Guests are responsible for taking securely bagged household trash to one of the public trash receptacles conveniently located along the route toward Cruz Bay. Please never leave trash outside, as it can attract local wildlife.

We also ask that guests rinse sand from themselves, beach chairs, and beach gear before entering the suites. An outdoor hose is provided for your convenience.
