  • Oh Nom! for whatever reason the dining room was empty when we walked in. The ambiance & service was charming enough (I particularly enjoyed them showing "Teen Wolf") & the sushi rolls were a great value--the veggie rolls are to be missed but hey we are in the south-->it's always a gamble when your vegetarian appetizer isn't fried :)

The door lock did not work. It took 15 minutes upon my initial arrival to gain entry. Even after they changed batteries in the lock it still did not work properly.The adjoining door between my room and the right next had a gap under the door that was approximately 1" wide. This allowed for all the noise in the adjoining room to be heard. One inch is extremely wide for a gap on the bottom of a door. The toilet barely flushed. When I took off the lid and looked at the tank, it was set up so the water would only fill half the tank. I used the blanket in the closet. When I was folding it up and putting it back the next morning I saw a fake eyelash in the blanket. This tells me that blanket never get washed.I would never stay here again.

Exceeds Expectations for Location

This unit is located on Treasure Island, which is less busy than St. Pete Beach. The real estate there is more dated, in general, which could be off putting if you are expecting a more upscale experience.However, if you have perspective going into the booking your expectations will be exceeded. The room was clean, it had all of the in-room amenities needed and beyond (mini-fridge, freezer, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, pack-and-play, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, extra sun block, etc.), and it is nicely decorated. It is right on the beach and includes a heated pool and tiki bar. The pool was clean and in good repair. Parking is tight, but there is a lot across the street as well. There is not a restaurant on property, but plenty of options nearby.If it weren't for their new after-the-fact booking system, I would give this experience five stars. One week prior to arrival I received a surprise email directing me to a link where I was asked to enter my passport or driver's license information. As a commercial property manager, I have an understanding of some of the behind-the-scenes operations to be expected, and also understand that entering sensitive information online can pose a risk even through a secure link. So, you may like to expect this atypical follow-up request. In any event, we'll be back and recommend this unit to others. The property itself outweighs the booking experience, which we were able to work around and hope will be changed in the future

A nice beach getaway!

Great location, beach themed hotel room with a great view. Proactive friendly hosts. The hotel itself was under construction, but it's receiving a full renovation so I expect it will be very nice soon, and owners made me aware of the situation. The room itself is great!

Winter Get-A-Way

We had a short winter vacay and this place was perfect for the tow of us. The view is amazing right in the gulf. We got lucky to have a warm few days to get out on the. beach and relax!

Construction and communication

Everything that was advertised online was not going due to major construction, tv wouldn’t work, hot water ran out. I would recommend better communication.

Dirty bed. Asked for new sheets.

The pull out bed was filthy. Sheets had dirt and hair. I reported it and was told it must have been missed and asked if I wanted new sheets. Of course I did but they were never brought. I was also told before arrival the room I booked wasn’t available and I would be moved to a different room. Then a week before arrival I was told the original room was in face available and asked if I wanted to move back. I declined and kept the new room. Upon arrival I didn’t receive any check in details and when I asked for them I was told they were overlooked being sent because of all the back and fourth with switching room as if it was my fault! Very poor experience.

We love St. Pete

The area is great and the hotel was not bad for the price we paid for the room. The only complaint that I have is about the mattress. There is something wrong with the mattress in this unit. The left side of the mattress caves in and I did not get much sleep. I woke up with a backache every morning. Other than that it was ok.

Birthday getaway

Perfect location for us to head to all our favorite places or just hang at the Tiki bar or on the beach. Space and amenities were just right for the 2 of us. Loved our little balcony. Host was responsive and checked in with us. We would stay here again.

Beautiful views

The unit has a wonderful location looking at the beach. Sunsets are amazing. The unit was very nice, comfortable and had the basics we needed.
