We loved our experience at the Avalon Club. Amazing location, near bars, restaurants, steps from the beach... convenient covered parking available at a daily fee, chairs/umbrellas/beach towels available, great view, pool, gym, courteous team (cleaning, reception, maintenance). We would definitely refer and go back. :)

Beautiful view! Beautiful room! You can Only bring one car. They offer chairs , towels and umbrellas for free to check out. The most comfortable beds ever!!!!!! Stocked kitchen Small pool but we went to the beach so didn’t bother us.

The property is fairly new and you can tell they stay on top of repairs (the hallway smelled like fresh paint when we arrived). The unit was clean. It didn't have any extras you might find in a typical VRBO rental (like a beach cooler etc.) but that was balanced by unlimited beach towels, beach chairs & umbrellas along with some sand toys. The rooftop pool is small but great, especially if you have smaller kiddos who can't take the waves all day. The downsides to being a new property is that a few things are lacking. Our unit had huge closets but only 6 hangers. There was also no hooks to hang wet swimsuits and a single rod to hang bath towels (the rod only fits one towel). The TV is limited to Netflix, Disney or Cable. Since it's a smart TV having more streaming options (or even the top 10 most popular like Apple, HBO, Hulu, etc) would have been nice. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. The location is fantastic. Literal steps off the beach and steps off the main drag. We didn't need a car except to get to the island.

16th Birthday at the Beach

We had 6 people staying at the condo for 4 days. We booked a 2 bedroom condo with 2 king bedrooms and a sofa sleeper. The layout was awesome. The main bedroom was very large, with huge bathroom, and door to the balcony. The girls room was on the other side of the condo. It was spacious, with a full bathroom, and was next to the half bath. The main space was perfect for our weekend! The island was huge, with 5 bar stools. We used it as a buffet for snacks, breakfast items etc. There was a dining table for 6, which the girls claimed for meals & games! We had a lot of rain, so this was perfect for all the cards and board games they brought. The living room area had a nice big tv and enough room for 3 to watch movies. It really was a comfortable unit. When we went to our room, we barely heard the girls in the living area. The location was great for walking to restaurants and there is a Speedway gas station/convenience store a block over for picking up snacks, sodas, etc (tho you will pay for convenience!!) The beach was wonderful...and that is what you're there for! The property lets you check out beach chairs/umbrellas, which my husband and I did daily. They also check out towels for the beach and pool use. I'll admit, I like a chaise so I can lay on my stomach, but these were convenient.The only negative was lack of "on-property" parking. We needed two spots, which luckily they were able to give on our 2nd day. Other parking is 3.50/hr, which is EXPENSIVE!

Perfect getaway

The Avalon was the perfect place for our first vacation attempt as new parents. It had all the accomodations and conveniences we needed. We loved waking up to the ocean views and enjoying the amazing sunsets every day. The location is minutes away from everything you want to walk to but also quiet enough to relax and enjoy your balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff was responsive, polite and professional with everything we needed. Super clean property that is well maintained. We hope to be back!
