We really liked the home, quaint, clean..however, there was a problem with water sripping from the ceiling in the living room. Contacted owners immediately and they were very prompt in reaponding. We stayed 1 night the following day the ceiling caved in! Owners were very apologetic for the problems and found us a new place to stay that more than fit our needs. They also gave us a partial refund. Once the repairs are properly done i would be happy to stay at this little home again! Dunedin is a beautiful area with lots to do! Close to many beaches, resturaunts, shopping and the baseball stadium. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms very nice, though small but not an issue for 1 -2 people. Kitchen nicely remodeled.
Pictures are a little deceptive but house was super clean, comfy and had all the necessities to make it a great place to stay. Location was perfect for us. Great communication from the owners! Digital door lock needs to be updated.
Excellent location for Downtown Dunedin where we enjoyed lovely breakfasts and Farmers Markets on Friday and Saturday. Loved the restaurants in Dunedin. Hellas restaurant in Tarpon Springs was wonderful. Picked up some nice food items, flowers and rug made in Afghanistan as well as blanket made in Tunisia at farmers market in Dunedin. We did rent golf cart but only used it for one day as we really didnât need it. We went to a play, Kiss me Kate at one of the small local theaters and we went in our car. Enjoyed theater where we heard Noah Reid sing and play piano. We found the house to be comfortable and well supplied except for need of soaps in showers. Nice kitchen but we didnt cook. We liked the step-in shower but would recommend grab bars. Plenty of towels and linens. We recommend that the head board in master be attached or secured in some manner as it makes a noise when you turn in bed. Nice backyard! TV and WIFI all worked to our liking. Recommend this Airbb for older or handicapped too as on one level. Pet friendly so we brought our cat who travels everywhere with us. Charge on high side for four days. Will return.
As a semi-retired couple we especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and caught up on a lot of reading. Weather was great. Host was very friendly & readily available. Comfortable bed provided us with a good night's sleep every night. In short, we had a great & much needed break from the Buffalo weather. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early as the storm clouds were brewing! Hope to return at a future date. Highly recommend!
It was a great place for my children and grandchildren to stay and be just a golf cart ride away from us! The only complaint was my grandson wished there were bunkbeds so he didn't have to deal with his little brother at night! Lol
Dunedin is great. House suited our needs perfectly. Lovely trail nearby. Close to beaches and lots of little parks for the kids in town. Bike rentals convenient. Even bowling on a rainy day.
We enjoyed the house and stayed there for 4 weeks. Kitchen and shower were especially nice. We rented a golf cart to drive into town and the house is right on the bike trail which we used often. I would highly recommend.
Updated little house a short walk from Main Street. Beds were so comfortable and felt a little like home. Kitchens and baths were very nice. We would recommend to anyone.
We had a great experience at this property. It was clean, pretty, and well-appointed. The location was safe and convenient, offering many restaurants and shops just a couple blocks away. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely return.
We loved the location of this cute bungalow. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. we did need to pick up a few toiletries like shampoo and soap and some spices for cooking but overall the house worked well for us. Note one of the three bedrooms is right off the living room and the other two are down a hall with a bathroom in the middle. The main bedroom with attached bath is at the end of that hall.
Some tips for any guests new to the area.
The Pinelles trail is 1 min from the bungalow so bring or rent a manual or electric bike! This trail takes you right thru the town and beyond. Another option since this is a golf cart town plan early and rent a golf cart. They are not easy to find so call asap to rent one.
If you are planning on visiting Clearwater donât drive! Take the Clearwater Ferry! Itâs a beautiful 30 min ride on the gulf to Clearwater ports and the Ferry picks you up and drops you off at the Dunedin Marina. Times were limited but so worth the ferry ride instead of sitting in traffic. You must book the Ferry ahead of time.
We also enjoyed the dog beach on Honeymoon island State Park. Just outside of Honeymoon island you can rent SUP boards or Kayaks to get to Caladisi Island.
We also suggest the Dolphin tour with Parrotâdise Express boat tours at the Dunedin marina. Capt Jeff and the crew were fun and entertaining. We saw plenty of Dolphins and got some history of the area and itâs real estate.
Food! Fusion Tacos and Pieces Sushi weâre our favorites but the restaurants and service never disappointed!
The quaint, inviting, artsy friendly feel of the town was exactly what we were looking for.
Last! Donât miss the sunsets! The waterfront is 3 blocks from the house. So worth it! Get there early to get a bench and bring a beverage and the pooch! Everyone has a dog in Dunedin. Very dog friendly town!
YouTube had some great videos from locals too. We will be back. Thank you to John our host!
