The place smelled of sewage and mold when we first arrived. We attempted opening doors for awhile and it didn't work. We did text the phone number provided and they did give us the recommendation to run all the faucets for five minutes to see if that would help. They said this was due to the fact that it had not been used for a long time. We did it and it did take the sewer smell away, but it was still musty. Including the sheets smelled musty. If it is known that a place hasn't been rented in awhile then 1) running the faucets should be the part of the preparation for upcoming guests and 2) the beds should have freshly washed sheets, not ones that have been on there for a super long time. Which leads to the second issue. When we pulled back the sheets on one of the beds, there were what appeared to be mold spots. When I texted about this, they could bring over new ones. I expected them to remake the beds for us. But all they did was hand over two different sizes of flat sheets. So we didn't even bother using them, as we had already laid down a flat sheet from the extra set provided for the sofa sleeper. One night we to sit in the hot tub and as we were going to go in, a lady told us it closed at 9. We didn't think to look at the time until we got to the elevator, but it was 8:55. Granted, we know that's only 5 minutes, but sometimes that's all you need in a hot tub. It was already locked, so that was disappointing. The view was amazing and the beach was right there.

We kept our reservation understanding the community was still in recovery from the recent hurricanes, so was very accepting of they cleanup happening and some services not being available. The place was great and the people we worked with were pleasant and very informed. Unfortunately the place had a stale smell that we were able to eliminate by leaving doors/windows open the first 24 hours. Also, the general cleanliness of things like dishes and bathrooms were things that were less than expected and not impacted by the hurricane. So if the place has a proper cleaning, it would be a 5 start review.

Oceana is a great location, with spectacular views right on the beach. Plenty of room for a family of four. Elevators and luggage carts made moving in and out easy. Parking was a little tight if you’re in an oversized vehicle.

The location of this property is great. Views from the deck are lovely and easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Overall we had a good visit as the unit is nice but there were a few issues. First was we were delayed checking in because a faucet was being replaced. I appreciate the need for repairs but felt it should've been taken care of earlier in the day. The second issue was the dishwasher didn't work properly even after they sent a repair person out to work on it. I will say the property manager communicated well through both these situations and offered us additional tickets to local attractions that we were unable to use due to our schedule. But the greatest issue was there is only ONE parking spot per unit. They have 6 first come first serve "guest" spots on the bay side so once we secured a guest spot we didn't move the vehicle for the remainder of the stay because there is no free public parking in the area. If your entire party is in one vehicle this isn't an issue but for parties of multiple vehicles this can be a challenge.

We came down for college tours, but were able to turn it into a relaxing vacation with this location. Beautiful views, direct access to the beach and lots to do in the area. The condo was clean and comfortable with many accommodations. I would definitely stay here again if heading down to the St Pete’s/Tampa Bay Area.

I have stayed at Oceana before, different unit, this unit was not as nice as the other. Repairs in bathroom (towel holders) looked pretty bad, and the overall cleanliness was just not up to par for the price of rental unit.. as mentioned before by others, the floors are dirty (not sand dirt) just dirty in a sense my feet were black from walking on them…overall stay was nice, and property manager responded both times right away with answers to my questions…. Our week here was perfect. The condo was super nice, checkin was easy and the people were very pleasant and responsive. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking from either our balcony, rooftop patio or beach. Sugar sand and a warm breeze was just what us WI girls needed. There is a grocery store just two or three blocks away which was handy and the Free Beach Ride was perfect to get around the area. No need to rent a car and deal with traffic or parking. Pick up and drop off right at the door.

This property was exactly as advertised, steps away from the beach, and close (but not too close) to all the restaurants and Publix of Treasure Island. A great place for families to stay at a reasonable rate compared to other listings. Owner was in constant communication and provided a list of things to do. Check in process with the front desk was easy, and helpful. Only drawbacks I would say were the floors were a bit sandy feeling when we got there but overall place was clean. We always do a cleaning job ourselves. Also a real lack of water pressure in the showers. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location of the property was great. The views of the beach are awesome. A couple of days the weather was in the low 60's and the pool was heated to the point that it was still comfortable to swim. The only negative to this property was the cleanliness. It could really use a deep professional cleaning. Had more of a hotel room cleanliness feel than a typical vrbo rental.

We enjoyed our Christmas vacation. The condo was a great size for four people and the views from the balcony were beautiful. The starter set only had two trash bags for the small kitchen bin (definitely not enough for four people for a week) but the hosts were quite responsive via text and kindly brought us more. The kitchen was lacking a few staples one might expect (salt & pepper shaker, rubber scraper, measuring cups, tongs, kitchen shears) and as a few other reviewers mentioned, the floor was quite dirty and turned our feet black quickly, so we kept shoes on while inside. If there'd been a mop or swiffer we would have happily cleaned it. A suggestion: given the time of year it would have been a nice touch to have some seasonal decorations. We've rented other places over holidays that had lights, wreaths, and other festive holiday decor which added a little something extra to the experience. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.
