My daughter's 13th birthday week at the beach did not go as we had hoped. We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Check in day, the email with the lock code did not work for access. There was PM staff on site due to water damage to the carpet and base boards in the second bedroom possibly from the second bathroom. We had to use the pull out couch instead. Upon opening the pull out couch we found blood on the mattress cover; had to go to the drug store buy peroxide and wash it before bedtime. The next day maintenance came into the unit with no phone call, email, or text that they were entering the unit.
I continuously emailed the owner and text this property management with NO RESPONSE!! On the day of check out, I called this property management to speak to a manager twice. The next day I called again, twice. The manager said he would speak to the owner about financial compensation and call me back by the next day. AGAIN NOTHING. Today it has been a week which I thought was a fair amount of time for resolution. I called and spoke to the same manager, the owner didn't feel compensation was needed. And come to find out the owner checked out the morning we checked in and was aware of everything. It saddens me as a single mom that I save all year for this vacation to give my daughter a great birthday and this is the kind of treatment we received.
