Welcome to Compass & Cast, our beautifully furnished first-floor Florida retreat designed for longer stays, slower mornings, and days spent exploring the Gulf Coast.

Whether you're escaping the cold for the winter, working remotely for a few months, or simply looking for a comfortable home base in Florida, Compass & Cast gives you something that's hard to find in a typical seasonal rental: a place where you can truly settle in—and leave the car parked.

LIVE IN THE HEART OF TARPON SPRINGS

One of the things we love most about Compass & Cast is the location.

Step outside and you're just moments from Historic Downtown Tarpon Springs, where you can wander to locally owned boutiques, grab your morning coffee, meet friends for lunch, browse the shops, or head out for dinner and a glass of wine.

Walk in another direction and you'll find Spring Bayou directly across the street. And just beyond downtown, the famous Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks are an easy walk away, with waterfront restaurants, shops, boat tours, and the Greek food and culture that make Tarpon Springs so unique.

It's one of our favorite things about staying here: you can park the car outside your door and spend an entire day exploring on foot.

THE SPACE

Compass & Cast is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath first-floor condo that sleeps up to six, fully furnished and equipped for extended stays.

The open living and dining area is bright and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax, entertain, or curl up for a movie. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa for visiting family and friends and opens directly onto the screened lanai.

Just beyond the lanai is the community pool, only steps from your door.

Morning coffee on the lanai, an afternoon swim, or an evening drink outside can quickly become part of your Florida routine.

The updated kitchen is fully stocked for real-life living—not just vacation snacking—with everything you need for morning coffee, casual lunches, and home-cooked dinners.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

The spacious primary bedroom features a comfortable king bed, TV, dresser storage, and a large walk-in closet, giving you plenty of room to unpack and truly make yourself at home. Sliding doors provide direct access to the screened lanai and pool area.

The ensuite-style primary bath includes an open vanity and sink area, with the shower and toilet tucked behind a separate door for privacy.

The second bedroom features two twin beds and closet storage, making it perfect for visiting children, grandchildren, friends, or additional guests. A convenient half bath is located directly across the hall.

With a king bedroom, twin guest room, and queen sleeper sofa, you'll have plenty of flexibility when family or friends come to visit during your Florida stay.

SPRING BAYOU SUNSETS

One of our favorite evening traditions is walking across the street to Spring Bayou for sunset.

Locals gather along the water as the Florida sky turns shades of orange, pink, and gold. Bring a drink, find a spot by the bayou, and stay awhile.

We think it may quickly become one of your favorite parts of staying here, too.

As much as we love being able to walk around Tarpon Springs, Compass & Cast also makes a wonderful home base for exploring the Gulf Coast.

A short drive takes you to Fred Howard Park and Beach, Honeymoon Island, Downtown Dunedin, Clearwater Beach, golf courses, waterfront parks, and plenty more worth discovering.

Tarpon Springs offers something a little different from the typical Florida beach town. You'll find historic streets, waterfront parks, Greek bakeries and restaurants, fishing boats, locally owned shops, beautiful bayous, and plenty of Old Florida character—all within easy reach of some of the Gulf Coast's best beaches.

YOUR WINTER, FLORIDA STYLE

Spend the morning sipping coffee on the lanai.

Walk downtown for lunch and a little shopping.

Spend the afternoon by the pool or head to the beach.

Wander over to the Sponge Docks for dinner.
