The property was as advertised. Great beach and sunset views from the balcony, roomy floor plan, we’ll stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils, and working appliances. Conveniently located across the street from Johns Pass. Crimson 103 worked great for three couples, except for one negative aspect, which will prevent us from returning to Crimson. To exit or enter the pool and the beach, an access key was needed instead of using access key pads. Only two keys were given per unit which did not work well with six independent adults. One of the two access keys we were given only worked getting into the pool area but would not work to get out. This seemed like a liability in the case of an emergency and the pool was used less than we desired since we technically only had one key. Several times one or two of us would want to get to the beach and would have to walk down the street to the beach’s public access instead of using the private access we paid for. Other times, it was more trouble than it was worth to come and go through this public access. A lot of unnecessary time was wasted between the six us organizing who had the key for access, who had the key that worked, and who didn’t get a key. There were several times when a walk on the beach or a quick dip in the pool was unattainable because of the access issue. We were told a new access key that worked everywhere would be dropped off by the owner, but it never showed up. The limited access of only two access keys per unit is the result of the condo association/ owners and not the rental management company (who were great!) We loved everything else about the condo, but until access key pads are installed at this property, we will not be returning here.
