My friend and I took a girls’ trip to Red River Gorge and stayed at this cabin for two nights.Finding the cabin was easy, and entry was seamless — always a relief since that part can sometimes be stressful!When we first arrived, the internet wasn’t working and we had zero cell service. Thankfully, restarting the modem and router fixed it quickly. It might be helpful if the cabin included simple instructions for this, since without Wi-Fi or cell service, it would have been a 20-minute drive back into town to contact the property manager. Luckily, that wasn’t necessary.We really enjoyed our stay — the hot tub was wonderful, the beds were very comfortable, and the cabin was spotless. Our only minor complaints were that the cutting boards were quite old (with what looked like black mold) and the nonstick pans were too scratched to use. For next time, we’d just bring our own cutting board and pan.Aside from those small things, everything else was great! We both slept really well, and the property manager was polite and responsive. I especially appreciated receiving the entry instructions by text — since I didn’t have cell service when we arrived, having the code already on my phone was a lifesaver.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back!
