With a cleaning fee, I'd expect the property to be fairly clean. First the ceiling fan threw of some black dust/dirt when turned on, the sky lights don't appear to have been cleaned since the cabin was built. The hot water heater area in the bathroom was filthy and had cob webs around it, a lot of dust on floorboards, doors, toilet paper holder. The bathroom also smells of rust due to the hotwater heater, maybe a door on that area would help hide the smell and mess. Under the bathroom sink where some towels are stored, the drain was leaking or leaking at one point, it looked disgusting. Under the kitchen counter the floor has not been cleaned in some time, the entire floor doesn't appear to have been mopped in a while either. The cabin itself was nice, cozy little cabin but there is NO fenced in area that is stated in the listing, so false advertisement there. The main road was only like 15 to 20 foot away from the cabin, had a lot of loud motorcycles going up and down the road all night and first thing in the morning. There really is no yard area other than the firepit area, not great for pets. Overall, I'm disappointed in my stay and glad I didn't book the extra night like I was thinking about, one night there was enough for me. There is also no cellphone coverage at all in the area, so prepare for that. Don't think I'll be booking another stay here, even though it is a nice area. There is also no hand rail on the steps making it a safety issue.
