Nice condo, poor managment

This condo was rented through iTrips Steamboat. Upon arrival, we found a large ceiling fan on the floor against a wall in a bedroom with a Murphy bed & there were exposed wires hanging from the ceiling. There was no place to put the fan when pulling out the Murphy bed. I called iTrips Steamboat to report the problem & they said they would send someone out the following day. We had to put the fan outside as there was no where to put it. The following day, maintenance picked up the fan and put tape on the exposed wires but did not fix the fan. On day 2, the air conditioner went out and when we called iTrip Steamboat, they said someone couldn't come out until the following day which was our checkout day. The temperature was a steady 84 degrees for the evening. We specifically rented a condo with air conditioning. iTrip Steamboat was difficult to work with and did not respond to my request of a partial refund. The iTrip Steamboat staff who answered the phone sounded as if they were in a city oversees as there was a lot of background traffic noise, roosters crowing in the background, poor connection, etc. I WOULD NOT TRUST USING THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY IN THE FUTURE.

Triple check the bed situation and pictures

The listing indicates four rooms for sleeping (1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, 1 Queen Bed, and 2 Twin Beds). There are only three rooms, (1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, and 2 Twin Beds) plus an air matress in one of the closets. Luckily some of our group was unable to come otherwise someone would have been stuck sleeping on the provided air matress or the couches. Additionally there was no hot water in the showers the first night or next morning. We notified the company that owns this unit and they sent someone out to resolve the problem. It was resolved temporarily but there was no hot water again the morning we checked out.

This property has one of the wider ranges of check in/out times of VRBO properties I have stayed at in the past. 4pm is later than most for checkin and 10am is earlier than most for checkout.

Utterly Awful

This stay was traumatic. Visitors claiming to be the host came to the door nearly every day (without notice) over a month long stay, harassing me and demanding to enter. Extremely rude, not to mention unsafe. The dishes were in the cabinet dirty upon arrival, there was broken glass on the patio, wet laundry in the washing machine, broken window shades on the floor, the elevator was broken, etc.

Perfect

We had a great time in Steamboat! Condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 5. Loved the lockers downstairs for our skis and the shuttle was never too long of a wait. Management checked in and was prompt to respond when I had a questions. We would stay here again!

Winter Family get away

Plenty of room for a family with 5 adults and 1 child. Jacuzzi was close, but it was always full so we did not get a chance to use it. We did get our rental car hit in the garage, but since there are no cameras it was a hit and run. Only thing I would recommend is have someone clean the kitchen walls. Looked like someone opened a champagne bottle and it splattered on the walls. Plenty of room in the Livingroom to hang out and enjoy the stay, nice the unit had three showers/bathrooms, gas grill on the balcony was a great addition and kitchen well stocked. Might want to consider updating a few of the pieces of furniture in two of the bedrooms. It doesn't seem to go with all the updates they have done in the condo. We would return if we came back. Great spot for a group

We enjoyed this location. The house was nice and had good open space. My only comment isn’t to this vrbo, but the property. I wish they provided layer transportation from downtown to the ski area. It was difficult to get back after 11pm

Great Place to Stay in Steamboat!

Really loved the location, setup of this place and the smaller unit this place is a part of. Made for slightly smaller crowds around the building and parking situation really easy with the underground parking. Loved the fold-out couches and office room with the murphy bed. Made for great spaces to spread out! The 3 full baths were fantastic as well as the wide-open large kitchen, dining and living room space. Was perfect for the group to easily interact without having walls in the way. The bean bag chair was a fabulous touch, although the main couches' cushions are something to forget. You can tell they're worn out and could be replaced. But speaking of parking, be aware of the reserved spots. Dont even park in one of them for just 10 minutes as you wait for other cars to move around. You'll quickly be blocked in and have a middle-aged, entitled white man coming and screaming at you. I'm sure situations happen like this often and it can be annoying in a tourist town, but this isnt how any problem should be solved. A property manager was around to help dissolve a simple, easy-to-fix problem, but some of the other property owners do not handle this slight inconvenience with grace and patience. Put a bad taste in our mouth leaving, but I know it wasnt the place's problem, just an unreasonable owner that doesnt respect others during the busiest weekend of the winter for Steamboat. Just comes with the territory these days in ski towns of rich, entitled people in Colorado.

Fantastic remote work VRBO

This property is extremely clean and well equipped for a family. The remote work office with dual monitors that converts to a Murphy bed and private bedroom was excellent. Allowed me to ski the book end weekends and work M-F. Highly recommend this property. I know we will stay there again.

Fall in Steamboat

The location is perfect. We felt the living room furniture was uncomfortable and cushions constantly slid forward. The gas grill worked perfectly and three bathrooms was terrific. We were locked out of the garage and room prematurely and I was lucky I had my phone with me or we would not have had a telephone number for assistance. The kitchen needs at least two hand towels and there was not a dish rag. Some people actually do cook and prepare meals and with the vast tools and kitchen supplies, why no dish rag or hand towels. Beds are great and the roominess overall is terrific.

Steamboat Spring getaway

Excellent place. Really loved using it itrip! Comfortable beds, great outdoor space, kitchen and living room was awesome. The only tiny glitch is you need to wait between showers so you can get a hot shower.

Very Nice

Great location within a short walk to mountain-side village and also close to bus for trips downtown. Property was clean and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 small kids.
