Cozy but convenient

The condo worked well for our group of four on a ski trip. The on-suite shower was very tight, and in general the condo is on then small side, but it was well-furnished, clean and conveniently located next to a free shuttle stop to get to the gondola.

Great location, comfy condo

There were only three of us. The condo is just as described. Close to pool and hot tub if it was summer but very close to free bus to the mountain, store, anywhere you want to go. Communication with management group was great! Check in and out smooth. We'll be back!

Filthy Nightmare

This rental looks adorable, but it runs only surface deep. The property was dirty from the initial inspection in corners and cracks and on the shower floor. Before our stay was over we found out exactly how DISGUSTING it was when we decided to wash our sheets and realized the mattress underneath was stained with what appeared to be blood, pee and who know what other body fluids. My trip was a nightmare as I washed load after load of linens in the house trying to make sure they were at least clean, but what can you do about a grotesque, unsanitary mattress? There were no other available places to stay in Steamboat or we would have been out of there completely. It's too bad because the location is great and the condo has the potential to be a solid option . . . but the apathy towards truly taking care of the customer past the surface became glaringly evident, impacting the entire trip for this mom.

Challenging visit

We've stayed in many VRBOs and this stay and unit was not up to par. Upon checking in at 8pm we realized that there were no sheets for the sofa bed which we needed to use and I coudldn't find the hairdryer (later found, obscured). I called Vacasa and was on hold for 25 minutes (holiday weekend apparently). No one was available to bring us sheets until the next morning according to customer service. We came back from skiing at 3pm and still no sheets. Called customer service again and Benjamin, the area manager, brought us sheets within the hour. Benjamin was very nice and very apologetic. But the fact that I had to call twice and was on hold for many minutes, put a bad taste in our mouth. There is a sign in the unit asking guests to start a load of sheets when we leave - no laundry detergent was supplied for this. There is a pool and hottub very near to the unit - literally steps away - which was perfect. But the key to the lock supplied in the unit DIDNT WORK! At that point I couldn't stomach another phone call. The unit itself has been updated, but the phrase that came to mind is "lipstick on a pig". There are scrapes on the walls, paint drips on a bathroom door, horrendous caulking job in both bathrooms, the TV in the master bedroom has entirely different channels than the living room, and the description of the master shower as "sparkling" is a big stretch. It is a stand up shower that is maybe 3 feet square. We didn't use it, it was so small. None of these aspects of the unit are the fault of the local management, but Vacasa overall. Sadly, all but 1 experience we've had with corporate owned VRBO units has been terrible. Lastly, the cost per night in no was reflected the value of the unit or amenities.

Amazing place

Easy to obtain on VRBO, great communication, easy to get into once we were there. The condo was so clean. We had the best time in Steamboat. It was so nice to come back after an activity filled day and relax at the condo.

Great place for small to mid-size group

Great location only a few steps away from the free shuttle to the mountain. A bus comes every 10 minutes so there is almost no waiting. The place was clean and check-in was very easy. Text communication with property managers makes it easy to solve all your problems. There were 4 of us in total and we were very comfortable with plenty of room for our stuff.

Great Place to Stay

This was our first time staying in Steamboat Springs. This was the perfect place for our need. Kitchen was well equipped, the condo was clean, and we had all of the amenities we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will look for this place when we return this winter.

Great location

The apartment was perfect for my 4 adults. Location was great with a free shuttle to the mountain. Thought the Hot tub would be on our deck, but it was a close walk. Would recommend anyone stay here! Thanks to the host.

Perfect 2 Bedroom Close to Mountain

We had a great time visiting Steamboat as we always do. We were so happy with this property due to its close proximity to the mountain and town. It was in a relatively large complex but easy to find with plenty of parking and only a few steps to the hot tub outside! While we did not have a pet with us we enjoyed seeing all of the pets (and kids) on the property play in the snow in the surrounding yards. The unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed for the week including laundry which is always so convenient on ski trips. We loved relaxing in front of the fireplace every day when we got back and having a beer on the patio to unwind from a long day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials which made cooking meals at home a breeze (who wants to struggle to cook on vacation?). The only recommendation I would make to the kitchen supplies is adding a few more dish towels-there was only one which made drying your hands/dishes a bit challenging (although paper towels were also available). The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of warm blankets. There was even two humidifiers in the unit (one for each bedroom) that helped add some moisture to the dry CO winter air. The property was also very quiet at night, we didn't have any issues with loud neighbors or parties taking place around us which made the whole week very relaxing. Having two bathrooms was also great for the short time we had 2 other friends staying with us. Each bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap and towels. We encountered one minor issue connecting to the wifi when we were there, but we were able to resolve it within 15 minutes thanks to the 24/7 service line. We hope to stay again next time we go back!

Great place

There were three of us who needed to get away for a few days of fun. This was a great place. Large enough that we were not on top of each other. Very clean and welcoming. I have stayed at many places this is one of my favorites

Good two week stay

We enjoyed staying here and it worked well for the two of us working remotely and enjoying hiking, skiing, and town. We liked the hot tubs, fireplace, and puzzles at the house. We had a couple issues and turnkey was easy to get a hold of and find a solution (the electronic door keypad is not reliable but they provide a physical key too).
