The property was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Our favorite was the hot tub!! We had so much fun and would stay there again. I would like to have known in the checkout what we were supposed to do with our trash, as I would have taken it out prior to leaving. The owner put together a book of available shops, hikes and restaurants in the local area, which was VERY helpful given Steamboat was lacking in snow at the time we visited.

Wonderful home, plenty of space, very clean an open with lots of light. Loved the view from the hot tub. If you go in the summer be aware there are not any ceiling fans. there were a couple of fans in bedrooms but nothing for living area and it can get hot during the day.

Beautiful house

A beautiful house in a great location. Well decorated and well stocked, I would recommend staying here for sure. My only issue is that a house as nice (and pricey) as this should have air conditioning. We had a hot weekend during our stay, and AC would have made it more pleasant.

Family Ski

This is our second stay at Blackhawk and loved it…access to the mountain is super easy, the space is great and accommodated our group of 7 adults. I would caution that this particular property is managed by a Vacasa property that is confusing to get hold of if there is a problem…they don’t advertise a local number, but there is one! Also, you need to rent a car because the shuttles nearby are only town buses.

Very nice and convenient.

Very nice and well equipped property. Boot and glove warmer in garage with automatic on/off was much appreciated. Easy walk to the gondolas with snow board boots, if skiing you can rent a locker and keep your boots near the gondola, because walk would be hard with ski boots. We did not try to use a shuttle. Hot tub on 4th floor was extremely nice and easy to use. Also a nice surprise to find TV's in two of the bedrooms with access to all channels. If your looking to go into town for dinners, I would recommend a car. No problem parking in the town in the evenings. Only complaint was pulling out of the property on to the main road, it was impossible to see in anyone was coming due to the snow pilled up along the road. Even with a regular height SUV, You had to inch out and just pray that someone coming from the left would see you and stop before hitting you. Overall, very pleased and would stay again.

Closing Weekend Stay

My friends and I visited Steamboat Springs for a girls weekend, and we had so much fun! It was closing weekend for the ski slopes, however we did not ski. Most of us have never been and were looking for more of a relaxing trip :) I can imagine that the property would be PERFECT in all aspects if we were planning to ski. In fact, there has been discussion of coming back. LOCATION! Just a short walk to the bottom of the ski hills, with a lot of restaurants and shops, that we did check out. We had a relaxing time playing Uno, watching movies and enjoying the hot tub! The home was clean and had more than enough room for the 8 of us. We went to Strawberry Springs, and hiked Fishcreek Falls, both of which were breathtaking. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, relaxing home as we adventure this breathtaking city!

Great property, walking distance to slopes and restaurants at base. Great views from hot tub! Very well appointed and lots of room for the family. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great place for skiers

Close to the lifts, carried our gear every day. Great kitchen for feeding the family and friends. Hot tub with nice view for the after ski soak. Boot and glove driers in the garage a nice addition.

Absolutely Perfect!

The house was just as expected, location was great and everything about the check-in/check-out was very simple. It was the perfect space for multiple families to be able to spread out and have their own space, but gather and enjoy each other's company in the common spaces. I do have to laugh because I had read all of the reviews about the HOA encounters and we did have a few visits from the same neighbor for really ridiculous things like trying to find the recycling. It did not bother us, we just had a good chuckle, because she obviously just has too much time on her hands!

Exceptional Property & Location

We have been to Steamboat many times and this location is exceptional. Walking distance to the mountain plus all the conveniences of grocery and restaurants. The heated garage with boot storage (and the wall mural of the mountain/trail map -- love). The architectural design of the property can't be captured in the photos. The hot tub with fireplace was used every day. Definitely a place we would stay again. Vacasa is the management company and it's difficult in communication thru VRBO. We have a large group with luggage and not being able to check in until 4pm or have an option to at least drop luggage (on Super Bowl Sunday) was a tough one. We have always had management/owners that could assist with this simple request in the past. We didn't receive any check in instructions and I had to find where were to pick up keys by downloading another app and searching for details as I couldn't get a response to messages. We use Vacassa for a rental home we own and we know this isn't always typical. Just a hassle. We would definitely come back and stay at this property. The best ski week -- sun & fresh powder ! Thank you.

Family Weekend

Awesome townhome!! A little ways outside of the downtown area, but we actually liked that. Walking distance to some great restaurants. Easy navigation to stores and short stress free drive to downtown. Townhome is well equipped and clean. Saw wildlife every evening walking through the complex. Will definitely book again when in Steamboat. Great weekend

Beautiful and well stocked!

We loved this property! It was so beautiful and well stocked with spices, oils and pots and pans for cooking, not to mention lots of towels for the hot tub! The only 2 negative things I would say are the shower heads are pretty weak and the president of the HOA there came and yelled at my 9 year old through the door to "get a parent RIGHT NOW." It scared the crap out of my poor kid. He yelled at us for parking in front of the garage which apparently you can't do if it's not recessed. It was on the parking pass which no one paid attention to, so it would be helpful if the parking information was part of the welcome email.

The house had everything you needed, even spices! There was plenty of room for our rambunctious group of 9. We really enjoyed the space on the main floor where we could play games and stretch out. Amazing experience!

Best rental property we have stayed in Colorado. The house accommodated our large group with ease and the amenities were top notch. Quick bike ride to downtown and walk to the resort. Our 3 days gateway felt like a week long vacation. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is a great location, very convenient to walk to the main gondola and to restaurants and bars. The home itself is beautiful with a fully equipped kitchen and a great family space for everyone to hang out. One of the best parts is that every bedroom has its own bathroom which was really helpful for our group as we had 2 families with grown children. The hot tub and fire pit on the roof were a great way to end a day of skiing. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!
