Creek Street runs along the back side of town and is the old "Redlight District". With it's boardwalks and original buildings, you'll feel like you are right back in the gold rush era. (If that era was also populated with souvenir shops full of cheap t-shirts.)

#CreekStreet #Ketchikan #Alaska Creek Street is a historic area of Ketchikan. The street is actually a boardwalk mounted on a set of stakes that support the dwellings built on the water. Formerly it was the district of the red light of Ketchikan. The brothels were banned and closed in 1954. Now the street is a place with shops, galleries, totems and the museum of the House of Dolly. Creek Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. A Creek Street é uma área histórica de Ketchikan.
